Super fast service and meals were great

I like GYG and the food was nice enough but why do all their stores seem to grubby.

The service at this particular franchise is absolutely abysmal. The staff are extremely rude and act like they don’t want to be working. Chihuahua (Taqueria) in Byron is far, far superior. Byron GYG needs to get their house in order.

I am not usually one to leave a negative comments but my experience tonight has really annoyed me. I placed me order for my food and went to sit and wait for it. The was an order waiting at the counter for a while but I didn't know if it was ours, I didn't have a reciept. The lady came from the kitchen to call out the number and I said I didn't get a reciept so I wasn't sure if it was ours. She asked me what I ordered and as I am telling her what we ordered the lady that took our order walked over and said I definitely have you a reciept. She knew exactly what we ordered and there were only us and one other person in the restaurant, so she could have easily say yep, that's yours or even brought it over to us while it was sitting there, but she decided to pick an argument with me about a reciept. She continued saying, I give everyone their receipts. As I went to take the food she then picked up the reciept off the desk (the reciept she definitely gave me as she assured me) and turned around. Incredibly rude and an easily avoidable situation. I just wanted to take my food and go.

Good Mexican restaurant. Great range of fopd and drink choices. Friendly staff and delicious, cheap food.
