No doubt best mexican food in Melbourne.!!!

I had very bad experience today at Guzman y Gomez box hill which is very unlike Guzman.. I ordered 2* (3 tacos) with no cheese with chicken,the chicken was so dry and it didn't taste good. The other tacos had long hair in it and it was very dry too.. I was really disappointed 😞

The nachos bowl with extra chicken was amazing value and great taste. Plenty avocado, lots of chicken, pretty good chips for a chain. Service was incredibly quick (although it was quiet). Everyone complaining about the $2 tacos - you get what you pay poor. They're $2, they're a little messy, there's not much meat... But they're $2! And yes the music is loud but it's a Mexican chain they're having a good time

Great food. Even though there were many people, the staff handled it professionally, and the wait time to get the food was not too long.

It's a small space but place gets really busy in the evenings. You an also order through the app which is handy. Kudos to the staff for keeping up with the orders. Our order only took like 3mins to get ready. Very impressive given the place was full of customers. My only complaint is that they forgot to add sauce that I asked in my order and when I asked them to give me the sauce separately they said they don't give out sauces :( and my food was pretty dry without the sauce.

Fast and friendly service. However there were a few issues with the food. One of my two shells was crispy and burnt, and the lettuce in my burrito was yellow and tasted off. The condiment stand with all the sauces, salt and pepper was disgusting and had sauce spilled everywhere, and the spoons for the condiments had cross contaminated all the different things. Food tasted good, but not great. Not w bad place to stop for some Mexican food. But there are much better places around

Love this place, it's always fresh and delicious, I practically live there. The staff are nice and polite, the community is awesome. Guzman for Life!!

In just a word AWESOME. GYG’s food is really good but the customer service and also the nature of workers is also wonderful.

Ordered through Menulog. The food arrived stone cold. I cannot understand how delivery companies cannot get this right, they have lots of practice. I have had takeaway from GYG Box Hill many times and the food is always good. So disappointing when you are looking forward to dinner and it arrives inedible. I would give no stars if possible

Very clean and nice place to sit to have a burrito or bowl. Food was served quick as well. I recommend this place.
