Greenhouse Tavern

Went there today for lunch. Fantastic food. Senior prices and kid's meals available. Highly recommend the chef's salad I included the grilled chicken. My parents enjoyed the schnitzel my husband the rump steak and my son had a burger. We had a lovely time. I've given it 4 star's because of the noise any atmosphere is lost due to this. But otherwise it's a beaut place for a bite to eat and a drink. They have a beautiful kid's areas near outside seating unfortunately there were quite a few kids today so inside was quiter (not by much).

Stopped by to have a decent lunch and stretch as we continued our journey to Brisbane - chose this place as it had a kids area so our toddler can play - disappointed that due to covid the kids’ indoor area (as photos posted by people 2 years ago), and outdoor play area are closed. Would recommend parents wanting a play area for the kids during a long drive to go across the road to McDonald’s as their play area is air con/ and indoors and it’s new and epic! But other than that their lunch counter-service menu was delicious and well priced! $16 for rump steak, salad and fries! And the kids’ menu came with fruit! And free drink fir $10-$12! But the chicken nuggets weren’t tasty at all. Only the chips were good.

Yer.... Nice place to take a load off. Food was very decent, good tasting and plentiful. A little pricey i thought but i don't mind paying a little extra as long as it's worth it. Greenhouse is good value. Cold beer, what more could a guy want.....

In real life, this place looks a lot more dated and rundown, compared to the professional photos on here. Reasonable selection of foods, prices were ok, meals tasted nice. Service a bit lacking, and some staff didn't really know how to use the computers to take orders, so lines for ordering were long. Food was quick to arrive. None of the kids activities on the website were open, including the playground, which was extremely disappointing for our children who were looking forward to it.

2 stars because it's a nice enough space for kids to move around in and the service is friendly. But the vegetarian salad (one of very few vegetarian options) was really borderline inedible, its been a long time since I've had a salad that poor..maybe just go for a drink!

Much of a family pub as it was loaded with more families than adults. Has all the necessities of a local pub and ample parking out the front. Extensive food menu was hidden behind the counter for COVID-19 reasons, chefs specials board looked appealing.

Staff were very helpful and attentive. My dinner (chicken and chorizo pesto pasta) had a ridiculous amount of oil in it though the photo doesn't show it well but the bottom was a pool of it, I could spoon it up.

My family and I had a wonderful time and I would recommend the Greenhouses Tavern as a lovely place to take your family to .
