One of the best Thai/Lao restaurants in the area. I love that they are open a little longer than the rest so I can get my fix any time. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous and delicious. This place is a staple.

This place is amazing. We get uber eats from here all the time but tonight dined in. The deep fried snapper with apple salad (mango when in season) was so delicious. The deep fried ice cream was equally good. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Recommend to anyone.

Still craving this place 🥺 moved out of Sydney and nowhere can make Thai or Lao food the same 😭 you've ruined everywhere for me. Good food, good people, good times. Try not to go during traffic hours (lunch/dinner) try pick earlier/later times as this place can get super busy.

Work had our Christmas function here. We had the basic Banquet menu for $35 per person. One of the first things you notice when you walk into the restaurant is the decor. I loved the beautiful Thai statues and the various decorations along the walls. Even little things like the rice tub was a nice touch. We were seated in the function room with two other groups of people so the evening turned into something rather noisy, sometimes deafeningly so. The food was slightly above average. The dishes were all well presented, everything was cooked well, and tasted good. Comparing with other Thai restaurants in Sydney, I would rate this at about 6 or 7 out of 10. The fried ice cream was highly recommended to me so I ordered it. The pastry was really crispy and it was very much like what you'd find with the spring rolls. Aside from that, there was nothing overly special about it. It was enjoyable but probably not something I would order again. Overall, the dining experience was let down by average food but was boosted by the beautiful decor. If I'm ever in the area again, I would consider dining here to try out some of their other recommended dishes.

What an incredible dining experience! I normally am not a fan of Thai food and reserve pretty heavy critique as I normally find it too sickly sweet (suits the western palate I guess). However, I was so pleased that our to bring our family to Green Peppercorn. First of all, the guy behind the counter was a legend for ACTUALLY policing covid19 check ins and made no reservations in filtering out anyone who hadn't signed in properly. The food is on point. Like I eluded to, the food isn't too sweet and oily which I prefer and appreciate (if you like sickly sweet, then you can check out any of the hundreds of other Thai restaurants for your sugar hit). I HIGHLY recommend the ox tongue as it's so tender here compared to other places. I didn't take any photos unfortunately. Another must try is the Crispy Snapper and Mango Salad. Those who are paranoid of bones need not worry. Because we didn't feel like we just ate a block of sugar for dinner, it actually made dessert enjoyable! The staff were incredibly helpful. We mistook one of the cleaners as a wait staff and when we made request to order additional menu items, he had no qualms in taking on our requests to the kitchen. I hear so many people go on about is Holy Basil is the pinnacle of Thai Food. I scoff at those remarks. I will choose Green Peppercorn over Holy Basil 10 times out of 10. Will definitely be back with family in tow!

Green peppercorn was great, really nice food, amazing and friendly staff. There's also a bar so you got more of a variety with drinks and alcoholic beverages. Ordered pineapple fried rice, green curry, a chicken salad, and for dessert the "par thung go" which are these delicious deep fried mini bread sticks or if you're viet it's like "gio Chao quay" that you dip in this yummy pandan sauce. They also give you a scoop of coconut icecream which just completes the flavours hot, cold sweet savoury. I'd recommend the dessert to anyone.

I dined in tonight and tried a few dishes. Chili basil fried rice was flavorful and i enjoyed it, not overwhelmingly spicy. Roast duck red curry was very nice, curry had good flavor and duck was tender. Ox tongue was nice too. Laos sausage had good texture and the flavor of the herbs was nice. Highlight for me was the deep fried ice cream, crispy and was perfect. Lovely butterscotch sauce and toppings to go along with it. My favorite dishes were roast duck red curry, Laos sausage and deep fried ice cream.
