Visited early in 2020. The fish and chips here were heavenly, crispy on the outside and not oily. The calamari and the sweet potato fries were really good too. Owner was friendly to introduce the types of fish for us to try.

Best fish and chips in Perth cbd and dare I say the whole of Perth. Well up to yoh to believe me but compare to any other fish and chips restaurants in Perth city and the surrounding 3km radius none can compare to this place. My go to fish and chips whenever I crave for it. Keep up the good job fellas.

As a Brit living in Canberra, I really miss quality fish with real fresh chips - the frozen ones just don't work. Please to say that here ticked all of the boxes, delicious cod and chips, I also took a battered sausage and black pudding away which didn't disappoint; highly recommended!

Went in unexpectedly since I suddenly had a craving for fish & chips when we were passing by the shop Ordered a fisherman’s plate with tartare & extra curry sauce and coleslaw. Pretty average fish & chips. Chips were stale (somewhat looked like they just gave us whatever was left from the previous order since they had a couple more tables ordered before us). Fish (Hake) had a thin batter but didn’t stay crispy for long enough & got soggy pretty quickly. Kinda self-service for everything when you dine in. It’s cheap price for CBD location so probably that’s why the fish & chips wouldn’t be that great. Also, you could find better fish & chips near the beach side with even cheaper prices (for ex, near Cottesloe beach) Calamari & battered prawns were better than the fish though Not sure if we’ll be coming back

A hidden gem in a back alley, by far the best fish and chip joint in town. In fact better than those that I had in London. Everything was made fresh and with a big portion.

No longer suitable for coeliacs due to the separate fryer being 'broken' (I take this to mean they weren't getting enough gluten-free business to warrant running and cleaning an additional fryer) for some time. Gluten-free batter is pointless if the cooking oil isn't safe. Cooked me a piece of barramundi in the pan I was assured would be juicy, but instead was overcooked and broken up. Chips are as good as always.

Awesome place tucked away in Perth City. Nice batter, eatable not oily. I brought 3 serves of Battered Prawns and they were just perfect. Also allowed me to buy a handful of chips as I don't eat many. I recommend the menu here any day of the week. - Allen Williams

The panko-crumbed calamari was outstanding! And the grilled baramundi was tasty. Another note is that they hand cut the chips and double cook them themselves! Wow!
