Very delicious and cheap food and drinks

As a local I love catching up with friends at 'Good Times'. It's a really popular place so get there early to secure yourself a seat. I do recommend the outdoor area especially on balmy nights. Try one of their cocktail concoctions, negroni or a chilled wine! The staff are super friendly and accommodating - even when they're really busy. It's pet friendly which we love, and you'll usually find the owner's dog Jessie minding the outdoor area and keeping everyone entertained. If you're after a relaxed North Fitzroy vibe, good prices, dog friendly place for a drink and quick bite, I recommend Good Times. Chin chin!

Al dente puttanesca perfection... for just 9 bucks. Granted it was soon after they opened for the day, the food and drinks came out amazingly quickly. Negroni was a little on the dull side, but at 9 dollars (sensing a theme?) you really can’t complain. Dog friendly out the back with lots of coverage, heaters and a crackling open fire for cold evenings. Friendly service. Will definitely be going back.

Great place to go to if you have a hankering for a fancy night but can't afford it. $9 meals and $9 cocktails. Lovely back garden for the summer time, or sit out the front to people watch all night.

Came in last night & had an absolute blast! Great to see a busy venue where the staff have everything under control. A+ for the fresh & tasty pasta. A++ for the banter A+++ for value

Love this joint. Simple pasta dishes and $9 negroni’s is a genius move. Good atmosphere although can get a bit chaotic when busy so would recommend making a booking or getting in early.

Food didn’t taste fresh and it was too salty. Place looked dirty and music was too loud. I would never recommend this place.

What hearty delicious Italian fare this place dishes up! Simple, on point food that really hits the spot. Would recommend to anyone passing by or in the area who wants to enjoy a little bit of Italy for the evening. The banquette is a great option too 👍keep up the good work! Serves food from 5pm.

Both an affordable and hip place to take your friends to! The $9 pasta really surprised me here! Had really low expectations, but the pasta is still tasty and the portion is enough to fill me. They do have other pastas on their menu, but they are priced differently. It is ALWAYS busy here and their service is pretty much all over the place, so I definitely recommend calling and reserving a hr in advance to avoid the stress of finding a table since it is quite small and cramped. How it works here is that you wait for the door person to come sit you down and once you have a table then you order at the register and they will give you a number.

This restaurant use to be good, but not sure why but its pretty bad now. So loud and noisy, and the quality of the food is poor. It's so busy that you have to wait ages for staff to take your order. There's to many good places in north fitzroy to give them a second chance. Also the owners beautiful dog is often left at the restaurant in the school holidays, I presume when the family is away and can't be bothered to find care for him the poor love barks all day and night so sad.just missing his family. I don't think the owners care. This is not a restaurant I want to spend money at.
