g050 The Glen Food Court ground floor 235 Springvale Rd, Glen Waverley
Tasty noodles and reasonably priced. The noodles are freshly made and you can customize your order to choose whatever noodles you want with your dish be it thin, thick, wide, wider or even triangle. The soup broth of the signature beef noodle soup was just right. The serving size is good, filling albeit heavy on the noodles and not enough meat or variety of toppings. Had the cucumber side dish an that was refreshing as well.
Came here during the week so it wasn’t too busy, however, so expect a wait on weekends. Beef soup noodles are what they are famous for and it’s delicious. Had a vegetarian dry noodle and it didn’t have much flavor. The prices are reasonable and the portions have a decent amount of noodles in it. Service was fast, as expected of a food court style restaurant.
No doubt a great place for a quick yet cheaper meal, but there isn’t any crowd control.
Food is good but on our visit the person taking our orders did not know the menu or dish codes. (ie. which code corresponds to each menu item). This might be fine but when your specialty is -many nuanced- variations of beef noodles, one would have thought the menu / number system is crucial. We got the wrong dishes anyhow and it was painful trying to explain. Please develop an app, train your staff to refer to codes or even use a self order, tick-a-form system!
Very good noodles. Recommend the signature beef one
Very nice handmade noodle, fresh and tasty. But choices are very limited. Only 4 noodle soups and 4 dry noodle dishes. Self service for almost everything.
Really good service , the accidentally added chilli in our order but when we mentioned it they were very quick to change it and very nice. Service 10/10 would recommend, food portions are great too and fabulous taste
Like its taste. If could provide preorder and pickup would be nicer.
It's no wonder why there's a snaking line of people waiting to place an order. The noodles here is bloody good. And for cheaps too! Beef is tender and flavorful. Noodles are chewy and springy. The broth... Omg, if you don't slurp it down to the last sip, you're just weird. One word of caution though. If you're coming here on a weekend, be ready to get in line. And you won't be able to have a comfortable space to eat. Who cares. Food is good. And for that, I'll come back here again and again.
Such a super busy place during lunch time on the weekend. You gonna expect a long wait for your dishes. I just found out the portion looks a bit smaller than the one I had in the city. So I think it’s a bit pricey.
