Wet Friday evening. I have been to this restaurant for many years and changes of managed for dim sum. Big pleasant room with 100+covers. Decor clean and relaxing. Well laid table with white cloth and white china. Menu of the usual Cantonese favourites and some interesting and novel choices. We had the steamed oysters to strait. Good but not great. Then seafood fried rice, oxtail and seafood and tofu hotpot. The star was the rice. Good flavor withlots of big prawns, scallops and squid. The oxtail was in a tasty light soy broth and the hotpot chock full of high quality seafood.
An amazing assortment of bite size foods. A real taste sensation. Service excellent and price perfect.
Yum cha Huge variety & good
Foods are nice, service are very good.
Staff are running around frantically looking busy. I saw 6 ppl bring their own teapots to refill. The dimsum dishes are average. The pork suimai and pork ribs were underwhelming. There were too much fat and bones on the ribs. The sauce was very salty and no balance. Chef may have forgotten to add sugar to sauces. Claypot rice also lacked seasoning. I will not be returning to this place. Our first and last time here. My other two diners share my views.
Busy on weekends morning but taste was good and staffβs service was quickly response. Big dining area, reasonable price compare other dim sum restaurant. Loves it ππ»
This is my go to bar. The cocktails are the best in Perth hands down. I love the punches, if you don't like the taste of alcohol definitely try them. 'Orchard blossom' is the absolute best. They will pretty much make any cocktail you want for $18, and they are always presented beautifully.
Tasty dim sum. Place was busy, but we didn't have to wait for a table because the staff are very efficient. Staff are friendly and pleasant. Portion sizes are big. Food is great quality and very fresh. Restaurant appears clean. Plenty of room for the dim sum trolleys to move through. Parking in the CPP on Roe street is on the expensive side ($9 for just over 1 hour). Overall, this is a lovely dim sum restaurant!
Really enjoyed the dumplings, nice place to eat we will be back
I find dim sung restaurants staff mildly annoying, the way the bark dish names at you, this place was the worst I have been too, the staff were persistent in trying to get you to take dishes that we did not want. The dishes we had were nice enough but we went to a different dim sung restaurant in Belmont forum and they were nicer in my opinion and there was a greater variety in Belmont. The restaurant had good toilets but I thought the place was untidy, as these places often are with supplies in the hallway. I will not go back again on my own, I guess if other people wanted to go there I would go.
