I was just looking for a nice Chinese place to go in Melbourne with my friends. Searched “Chinese food Melbourne” and this came up. I had no idea that this place was one of the most renowned restaurants in Melbourne. After seeing the prices and the absolutely impeccable service it’s clear why it is a Melbourne Institution. The food was absolutely amazing, the wagyu beef was so soft it melted in your mouth, I just wanted more. I also loved the Mango dessert. The service is like no other. I would love to go back and order everything that I didn’t get to order. To anyone that is complaining in the other reviews that this place is expensive, yes it might be but it is definitely worth it. You’re not only paying for the food, but for the service and everything else that comes with it. When you go to a place like this, money doesn’t matter, just let your wallet be free!

A breath of Hong Kong food scene in the heart of Melbourne. There are a few dishes that I invariably associate with Hong Kong and will always seek out without fail whenever I am in that great city - ginger milk pudding and egg tart. With the current travel restrictions, I am thankful that one of my favorite dessert is executed beautifully at Flower Drum - silky, wobbly, gingery sweet milk pudding. Sublime!. Thank you chef. I also splurged on a whole Coral Trout, an exquisite sweet fish that is steamed perfectly. And one just had to admire the knife work of the thousand leave tofu - lightly warm and served with savory mushroom on spinach sauce. The pancake for the Peking duck is warmed in front of you and wrapped by the waiter - it is good but I prefer mine to have more crispy, fragrant skin and less meat. Lastly, a word on the service - yes, it is attentive.

Literally the best steak I've ever tasted in my life. Hands down the best Chinese place in Melbourne! It was my birthday and they brought out a carved swan made out of green apple! There was a sparkler and plum sauce that said happy birthday. There were some baked cookies on the side too! These guys have an absolute passion of their craft and they've earned my respect. I'm looking forward to coming back soon!

Best place to eat tasty food with family. I really enjoyed it. The quality and quantity of the dishes are very good as compare to the prices. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all.

Been contemplating coming here for years, just wasn't sure about the pricing. But this weekend just decided to give it ago. I would simply say, we left highly impressed and would definitely return. The service was superb! Every staff member was polite and very attentive. Every tea cup, wine and water glass was always topped up in a heartbeat. The wine list was extensive and tailored to match all requirements. For our meal we requested suggestions and we're not disappointed. They adjusted the size of the dishes to suit our requirements which was a pleasant experience and allowed us to try multiple dishes. The Peking duck is definitely a must have. Best Peking duck in Victoria, or anywhere. Crispy garlic pork rib was a surprise, perfectly cooked, and fried rice was as good. Excellent service, beautiful and spacious settings, top up by lovely fresh flowers arrangements. Right choice to celebrate birthdays or special occasions. Restaurant can arrange birthday cake, flowers, etc. Best service.

One of the oldest and most expensive Chinese restaurant in Melbourne. They have consistently listed in the top restaurants in Victoria. The dishes are cooked perfectly in a traditional method and the service is top notch. The seafood are fresh and the pork chop is soft. Food - 9 Service - 10 Vibe - 9 Price - $$$$$
