Best fish and chips in the illawara, don't waste your time going anywhere else. Top quality, fresh and tasty.

Probably the worst fish and chips we’ve ever had. First up it took 35mins from ordering to getting our order. There were 2 orders in front of me and 5 staff behind the counter that had absolutely no idea what they were doing. They need a short order cook that knows what they are doing. EVERYTHING is pre- battered! Our order was then handed over in styrofoam boxes, so what every crispness there was, was soon sweated out. Calamari was over cooked and hard, one of our potato scallops had no potato in it...LOL! I’m serious! No potato!! The fish was just so greasy and the batter sickening. So in summary. If you want to wait 35minutes for greasy, soggy over cooked food this is the place for you. Not to mention the sauces we paid extra for but did not receive with our order.

I found this is the best seafood basket I ever tasted. Very freshly cooked while you wait. You can eat there or take away. Loved it.

Great fish and chip shop to visit if you're in the area. Huge portions, good value for money. Love the potato scallops (fritters).

Very affordable staffs are friendly. There is a toilet, and a hand washing facility. Not wheelchair accessible, but I think because the staffs are friendly they would be able to help when some one needs a hand from outside as there are seats at the outside area. Love their fish n chips, pumpkin scallops, sweet potato scallops -- they're just yum! Great and friendly service too. We always drop in for a visit when we're down in the Gong!!
