Massive seafood platter was delicious

A very good place to have brunch, we found a bit slow with the food, but well worth the wait, and a good place to sit and watch people walking by.

A wonderful evening with tasty food. The chowder was divine, the seafood overall was great quality, well cooked and presented. The team were friendly and helpful.

The food was terrific! We sat down for a quick seafood dinner and were very impressed with the quality of food that we received. Beautiful, fresh and flavoursome seafood with terrific variety. The service was great, too. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly.

Ordered 2 pieces of hoki no chips and was charged $19 complained to them they just didn't care total rip off beware

Very disappointing experience at Fishheads in Byron Bay: When finally served starters after a considerate waiting time, we still had no drinks yet and had to ask for them a second time. A 50 minutes(!) waiting time unfolded for our mains. Staff promised to investigate but failed to come back with an answer and left us hanging. Eventually we got served a salad and an overcooked, very dry "Fish of the Day" for $39(!) and a beer battered fish with chips which was called "Signature Meal". We agreed that any given takeway Fish&Chips shop offers better quality than what was presented to us: A soggy fish and chips that clearly came straight from a frozen pack.

We travel to Burleigh Heads a lot for holiday's and we always go to Byron Bay just to go to Fishheads for lunch and the food was just to due for. We had just entrees as they were just so nice and we also had the calamari twice it was so nice I could have had it a third time. Do yourself a favor it is a must, hope you enjoy as much or more then I will be back asap

No word of a lie, the calamari as our entre was the best I have eaten in a long time. The chef here must be congratulated! Main meal: Fish of the day etc was just as amazing. Great friendly service & will definitely be here the next time we’re here in town.... I’d offer an even higher star rating but it’s not available. This place is a must to visit- you will be delighted with the outcome....👌👌👌 Sorry no pic’s I couldn’t wait to get into it! 🤣
