Uncle Bucks Brisket Burger is the bomb. Beer Battered chips are heaps better than their regular chips. Calamari is good too. Nothing left of my dinner to add photo. 👍

Wouldnt even give 1/4 of a star....asked for well done chips and wernt even cooked all the way through and chicko roll... Well outside was cooked but every bit of the filling wascold

Great fish and chips.

Ordered large and small chips and both were the same size! Asked for chicken salt and got plain salt but not enough salt. Deep fried mussels had bits of shell in them which hurt your teeth when u bite down on it and they were very bitter! I bought food at this place because apparently NZ have the best hot chips and seafood and that the food here was just like back in NZ. Sorry to say but I’ll never be going back to this place. Going to stick to Julie st takeaway. Oh and all the New Zealanders yous don’t have the best food so stop saying that because I’ve been very disappointed with nz food!

The best fish and muscles so far

Went in for breakfast this morning. After having our order taken by a young lady who was NOT made for customer service, we went to find our seats. The place was busy and happy sounding so we were confident, but after waiting over half an hour and our coffee still hadn't arrived, we grew less so. Coffee finally arrived and my latte had cocoa powder on top so that was interesting but the coffee was ok. We asked the same young lady if we could have some sugar, we were thinking it would be on the table, she brought us JUST that, sugar....i went and found our spoons, myself. The place slowly emptied and we continued to wait for breakfast, after a total of about an hour, it arrived, i went and got our cutlery. Soggy toast, the eggs sunny side up but with still runny whites, the hash browns cooked in the same oil as everything else so they had a really weird after taste, the bacon was ok as was the fresh tomato. We will accept bad food , if there is good customer service or the other way round but with bad service and bad food, we will NEVER go there again. The one star is for the coffee. Someone please ask the girl on the counter to SMILE, it goes a long way.
