The Fannie Bay Coolspot

Located on the No.4 bus route, this restaurant is walking distance to #fannie bay beach and #militarymuseum - designed like a typical American diner, the service is fast and efficient. Food wise, it is disappointing. The appeal is the scenery not the food. I had egg Benedict ($18) bland, cafe latte ($5.50) ok. No WIFI. Very popular, lots of parking, within a little shopping complex and near Parap Market.

My goto place every morning! Wonderful service, with a smile! Makes me feel special for the rest of the day. And the coffee is to die for.

This is the worst customer experience I have ever had. I order a cup of mocha, and the waitress brought a cup of mocha and a cake which was not the one that my friend ordered. So, my friend just explained the situation, and the waitress just brought the coffee which did not serve on the table and the cake back to the counter. And after a while, I went to the counter to ask my coffee and another staff said that she had already chucked away and she would not do another one anymore. No apology but blame!!! It was extremely terrible service !!!!

The food was epic, I had a milkshake that was unlike anything I have ever experienced this far north in Australia. Staff were courteous and professional which perfectly finished a great meal.

Great food and quick friendly service. Even if you're just wanting coffee and cake you won't be disappointed, they have an awesome selection.

Place is extreamly expensive. 12$ for mango smoosy on mango season, not big size at all. The girl on cashier dont understan english, couldnt explain if it is with milk or not since we ordered shake, too busy place. Better to be somewhere in city.
