Eureka 89

My husband proposed to me on my Birthday at Eureka 89, a decade ago, it was magical, picture perfect and the food was absolutely as breath-taking as the view. I surprised my husband the weekend just gone for our anniversary with a dinner at Eureka 89 to mark the occasion. We were astonished to see that everything we loved about our first visit was even better ! Christine and her team were absolutely beautiful and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had a brilliant night and memorable occasion. Eureka 89 is not just a view, it's the whole package, the food, the service, environment and vibe, it was the best night my husband and I have had in a long time ! Thank you Christine :)

Spectacular on many levels. We have dined here a few times over the years, but with covid19 restrictions we've been back more often just to spoil ourselves and support the Melbourne Community. The food is always amazing (both 4 or 6 course), efficient and pleasant service without being overbearing and allowing you to really enjoy an intimate dinner, and appreciate the superb views of Melbourne. It's also nice to be recognized by the staff! If you're looking for something to remember & enjoy, then Eureka89 is definitely on your list, and you can dress up to feel good about yourself and appreciate how fortunate we are. Last night we had the 4 course (Kingfish, Quail, Beef, Berries) early dinner sitting but we weren't rushed. Christine and her team (& Jazzi ?) go all out to ensure everyone has a great evening. Tables are well spaced out and not noisy, and we've even seen a wedding proposal previously. We're already going back again.

It was a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding. Service was delightful and very professional. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Ideal for those who want a romantic dinner out with an awesome view through the window next to you.

Incredible experience dining at such a height - the views were amazing, we were lucky enough to have the sky clear up for us as we dined. The staff were incredibly professional and welcoming, and we were blessed to have Chloe look after us all night - she was very kind and respectful, and took great care of us,timing our meals and ensuring we had anything we needed. Thanks again Chloe! Will definitely come back to check out the new menus in the future!

Had such an amazing experience! My reservation for my anniversary had been rescheduled due to Covid restrictions, however, they were very empathetic since we couldn’t celebrate on the exact day. The staff provided great service especially Viry and Carin, super kind and friendly. Highest compliments to the Chefs, the food was absolutely superb! Beautifully platted and tasted delicious. They went above and beyond to make our day extra special, serving complimentary wines for each meal and gave us the best table in the restaurant! Overall 110% recommended, you’ll have a great experience! P.S Huge shoutout to Viry and Carin for excellent service and patient. They even went out their way to take photos of us and make sure we have the best anniversary dinner even though it wasn’t celebrated on the exact day.

Visited for a lunchtime work function. The function area has a classy and relaxed vibe, quite intimate in size. The views are amazing and unrivalled in Melbourne. The staff were attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. As for the dishes, I had a thinly sliced rare lamb entree and a beef fillet main which were both perfectly cooked and very tasty. The profiterole dessert was a tiny bit dry but very yummy with the toffee crumble. A big shout out to the bartender who was so accommodating with our requests! If only our work would come back here again..!

We had the amazing experience of getting engaged at Eureka 89. From the moment we walked in the staff could not have been more accommodating, we were given such amazing service by everyone especially the Manager Shane. I could not recommend this venue more highly, if you think the view is incredible the atmosphere and people are even better! Thank you so much for a night we will never forget!

Great views, great service, love the food! With restrictions over, this place was first on our list and it certainly impressed. Ross was fantastic, we loved the experience from start to finish. Not a place to go to if you're hungry, this is fine dining with a leisure focus, so servings are spaced accordingly. The price is very reasonable considering the food, service, and setting. As a bonus E89 has the best views in Melbourne. Certainly a special occasion or treat yourself kind of place.

The food was excellent, every dish delicious. Gorgeous views. The staff were professional and friendly but there were so many mistakes with the service. They asked if I had any allergies. I told them only one and was still served dessert with my allergen without any warning. I couldn't eat most of the dessert. When I let them know they just shrugged it off.

The food and experience here is unmatched. The view and service is so perfect especially for such a setting such as my partner and I's anniversary. We were served by Ross and couldn't have asked for a better server, very kind and warm guy that was genuinely interested in our satisfaction. Thank you very much to all involved, was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend to anyone.
