Cargo Bar & Eatery

Docklands Melbourne 3008, Melbourne

One of the best spots at Docklands, great staff, good wine list and excellent breakfast menu, just missing free wifi :( and a bircher Muesli :( the toasted Muesli is a minuscule disappointment

Abacus Bar & Kitchen

383 Chapel St South Yarra 3141, Melbourne

Great space. The food is good although I think the buckwheat crepes are better as a dessert than breakfast. The Tim Tams AND chocolate ganache makes it too sweet for me; and for a breakfast/lunch item, it's too much for me.

The Crown Melbourne 8 Whiteman St, Southbank 3006, Melbourne

$23.50 mon-thurs evenings, $29.50 Sat & Sun for an all you can eat tip top classy buffet. You name it, they have it, and what a fine selection of grub is on offer. A ton of starters, entrées, main meals, and sweets of all kinds. It's busy, but great value, and the kind of place that should satisfy food snobs and tiny tots and all sorts as lets face it you pick what you want and east as much as you like. The first of many visits.

Saint & Rogue

582 Little Collins St 3000, Melbourne

Smoked samon very nice, herb bread not so much

Punch Lane

43 Little Bourke St 3000, Melbourne

My visit to Melbourne found me in many restaurants and cafes. By far, Punch Lane Wine Bar is my favorite. Very friendly, clean and wonderful food, fabulous wines. I felt at home in this quaint atmosphere. I wish Punch Lane was in my town back home. You must try this place. Manchester, NH; USA

Time Out Fed Square

Federation Square No. 2 Swanston St Federation Square, St Pauls Court 3000, Melbourne

Nestled in Federation Square, this place could not lack for public interest. However, the menu seemed quite untempting, and the service was ok (probably from being so busy). There was nothing wrong with the soup of the day (potato and leek served with fresh batard $8.50) and it came quite quickly, however, see it for what it is... an eatery that has the good luck of being in a very busy location.

87-89 Swan St Richmond 3121, Melbourne

We went on the first night they opened, but everything was running smoothly!! We were greeted by the owner who made us feel at home right away and explained the menu. The service by all the staff was impeccable and the food was amazing. Rib eye was cooked to perfection, great quality and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be coming back! Love our new local.

Touché Hombre

233 Lonsdale St 3000, Melbourne

Had lunch with a group from work. Serving sizes very small, costly and no coffees or tea served. Maybe dinner or drinks is better. Not for lunch...

Eureka 89

7 Riverside Quay Level 89, Eureka Tower 3006, Melbourne

Best experience ever, top food and top service with the spectacular view.

Lume

226 Coventry St 3205, Melbourne

Nice atmosphere and great service. The dishes however, lack flavour and you find yourself falling back to the presentation to justify your expense.

Bird's Basement

11 Singers Lane 3000, Melbourne

Awesome new venue, very impressive. Hidden down a laneway in typical Melbourne fashion. Only downfall is ridiculously expensive menu - size of food and drinks served are far from worthy of these prices!

New Quay International Buffet

4 - 6 Newquay Prom 3008, Melbourne

I find this place excellent. I did not experience anything bad, so I don't really understand the previous bad online reviews. It has excellent seafood spread, much better than Langham hotel buffet. It's dessert cake range was very good too. Everyone in the restaurant seems to be enjoying the ambience and food too. I will come again.

22 William St 3000, Melbourne

Snooty staff and small, average tasting but pricey food.

Atlas Dining

133 Commercial Rd 3141, Melbourne

Charlie, the best chicken liver pate I've ever tasted. I love the unique concept of Atlas Dining. It's a promising start and it will continue to evolve as the restaurant grows. The layout of the restaurant is perfect - we loved watching Charlie and the team cook and plate up and the seating area outside is stunning. A beautiful experience.

The Olive Tree

19 Park St 3205, Melbourne

Had a great meal there with my family Friday night. Friendly staff, generous servings - recommend !!
