Empress Craft Beer Bar

This is an amazing spot! Fantastic craft beers, and if beer isn't your thing there's an espresso martini on tap that is phenomenal. You can take dinner in, it's a great spot for a chilled evening with friends.

This place is fantastic, the service is brilliant, the staff were fast, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their products. Was really refreshing to see, and certainly helped us to be refreshed! Stopped here for a few hours while waiting to board the SoT. Next time I'm in Devonport, I'll be making another visit.

The beer is really good the staff are friendly and easy to have a conversation with and the atmosphere is very calming.

Been here multiple times, always a great experience. Very friendly and helpful staff that know what they're talking about, whether it be the beers and spirits they serve or even a chat about the best tourism hotspots that Tasmania has to offer! While Empress is definitely one of the hottest destinations in Devonport for a great beer, both local and international, it also showcases a wide variety of Tasmanian spirits ranging from whiskey, gin and vodka. Head in for something on tap or from the fridge, sit inside with the nice mood lighting and great tunes or park yourself outside with some mates and enjoy the weather.
