El Torito

I'm from California and I haven't had a decent burrito (or anything close to Mexican food) in over a year since I left home. The people working here are amazing, the food is delicious, and the overall atmosphere made it feel like I was back home. I've ordered quite a few things from their menu and I loved them all, but their burrito is one of my favorites, as well as their selection of tacos. Would definitely recommend!

Service was friendly and apologetic because our order took a bit long to arrive. But on a Friday night we actually appreciated the slow pace and more quiet environment of this place. Food was freshly made, tasty and serving sizes were generous (chimichanga with shredded chicken)). Lovedshaken margaritas as well. We didn't order the burrito which seemed to be quite popular and it look really good. Maybe next time ...

Best and most authentic you can get in Brisbane.

Came in for the awesome smells, stayed for the pastor tacos! Make sure you have them with pineapple and chilli sauce. Lovely people, lovely food, nice friendly atmosphere if you want Mexican food.

Probably the most authentic Mexican (along with La Patrona in New Farm, but that's expensive) food which you'll find in Brisbane. The decorations, dresses, and other presentation factors are exactly like what we get back at home in Texas/Mexico. Food is not Australian Mexican, it is Mexican Mexican for sure. 1) The frozen margaritas could've used a bit more tequila, as well as being thicker/more frozen. 2) The Mojitos lacked the subtle taste hints from the herbs. The alcohol used in them seemed different to other mojitos. Will definitely be going back, the food was fantastic especially for the price. Probably the best Mexican food in Brisbane all things considered. Really appreciated the free dessert for my birthday :)

Still my favourite restaurant in Brisbane. Been coming for 23 years. The kids love as well. Would recommend to anyone.

Little gem. Very special selection of dishes. Loved the Tacos and had a spicy Michelada first time ever. Good value.
