A nice, lively place to go for a late night coffee. I came here for the first time on Friday night. It was full of groups and young families, people coming in for coffee and dessert after having dinner nearby. Waitress was lovely. Coffee was pretty good, however the baklava wasn't very fresh (got a plate of 6 small pieces). It was dry and not crunchy- I was expecting better since this is a sweet shop. They have a huge variety of pre-wrapped sweet platters, cakes, ice cream cakes and many different desserts. I'm not sure how fresh all the items were though. I got a takeaway triple chocolate mousse, it was ok; and a small takeaway box of baklava which was better than what we were served in store. Decor and service was good, though.

This is a dessert place but most of the desserts are worthless especially the cakes are a big No No. Please don't try the cakes here. Ice cream is good but its good everywhere so nothing special. Not coming back for sweets here ever. Very bad experience.

Drove 40 minutes to get to El Sweetie today, not greeted when I went to see the sweets behind the glass. I noticed that other customers were being greeted as they walked in. Knafeh naboulsi only available on weekends. I ordered semolina knafeh. She did not even reheat properly. It was lukewarm. Asked to sit in outdoor area (which was empty) but refused. Had a short young arab waitress stare and glare at me whilst I was eating. "Lebanese coffee" is just long black without sugar. Don't waste your money here.

Great sweets and coffee. I recommend the Arabic coffee. Strong but not bitter.

Very cosy place with shisha (hookah) and different kinds of sweets. It also has savoury dishes and a non smoking area.

Would’ve gave 0 stars if I could. We ordered a platter of all the sweets and after trying the sweet we soon realised the cream was Definitely expired or off as it literally tasted sour. Everyone who had tried the sweet had agreed something was very wrong with the cream inside. We kindly asked the lady if we could either get something else or a half price and explained to her the issue. She then accused us of lying and wouldn’t believe us even after we insisted she try it herself to see. She continued telling us we were wrong which was when we asked to talk to the manager. The lady said apparently we had to go to the manager instead of him coming to us (which was quite disrespectful) while he stood their watching. After some consideration we clearly explained the situation to the male manager who continuously accused us of lying, whilst creating a whole scene. This place’s customer service was very disappointing due to the continuous accusation of lying. It’s a shame since I had gone to el sweetie before and had tried that sweet several times and it had never tasted this off.
