A gastronomical delight! This was the best meal of my life. The menu takes you on a magical journey with fun food flavour/texture/colour combinations that dance on your tongue, and leave you wishing it never ends! The staff are an absolute delight and you can feel the heart and soul the owner operators bring to their business. Thank you El Planta... I'll be back and in the meantime will be telling everyone about you.

My wife and I visited for the first time and loved the place. The jalapeños margaritas were delish especially with the smoked salt. All portions were bigger than expected and the quality of the food was amazing. Especially loved the smoky mushrooms would never have thought that they were vegan. All food was really high quality and we will definitely be back!!

Hands down our favourite restaurant in Brisbane! The food is amazing; so full of flavour, everything is fresh and made from scratch. As vegetarian it is so nice when you can order anything from the menu without thinking what it has.. Our meat-eater friends also love it so not only for vegetarians/vegans. Service is always been top notch, we feel so loved everytime we go there. These guys genuinely love what they do and it really shows. For groups they also offer banquets, which is good value for your money and you get to taste many different things. Love love love it!!

Not terrible just average 3rd time visiting and the standard wasn't the same so disappointed. Ordered two Pineapple margaritas I asked for mine with no salt they just wiped it off and brought it back (I noticed tasted rank) my sister had the same with salt and she couldn't drink it ($18). We ordered banquet style the food was ok my favourite was the fish tacos the jack fruit tacos were burnt and dry (not charred) service was slow on drinks.

BAM!!! This was literally the effect each dish had on our taste buds last night. I can’t believe we took so long to finally try out this restaurant as it was easily the best Mexican I’ve had in Australia. My omni mates were very impressed this place was completely plant based as they fully encapsulated Mexican flavour and made some other meat dishes even more tasty! Price is definitely on the higher side as serving portions were small. Spent about 110 for 2 people but we wanted to try most of the menu (glad we did-no regrets there, do yourself a favour and do the same). Each dish was perfection, however the dessert was a bit of a let down. It was a bit dry even with the scoop of ice cream, probably needed an extra scoop or a sauce/ cream of some sort to balance the dish more. Overall we loved the place and I can easily say we will definitely be back for more. *tip: Make a booking before you go, they are quick with their responses!

Amazing food, it's honestly incredibly delicious and staff are lovely. We did the banquet option for $35 each and everything they brought us was amazing. We'd done the same deal previously with a table of 12 and got given so much food we nearly rolled out of there. Second time we had only a small table and it felt like we didn't get as many dishes as the first time. Apart from that everything was perfect and I know that there's always bound to be some differences due to size of the group. We were still very happy with everything but it would have been good to maybe have another dish to try out as well. Also wishing I had taken photos to share how delicious these dishes look but I was so excited about the food I completely forgot. Will be looking forward to our next visit, honestly one of my favourite Vegan restaurant.

I don't follow a vegan diet but gave this a try due to the amazing reviews – and did it deliver! The food was truly amazing. We ordered four dishes and they were all spectacular and nailed epic Mexican flavours. The team members serving us were also superb and so friendly. The excellent food and drink array, plus the team, make for a winning evening. I highly recommend El Planta!

This was the best experience. It's so rare you get good flame grilled charcoal flavours eating at a plant based restaurant but these guys nail it. Good vibes, drinks, excellent service and perfect food.would 100% recommend even if you're not vego. Even the phallic shaped ice cream on the dessert was perfect.
