Restaurant Within A Sailing Club
St Georges Crescent 0, Drummoyne
Nice meals from the bistro but at restaurant prices.
Great place for lunch, the food was delicious and the view was great! The staff were all lovely and friendly and helpful
Love the location, place is an old friend, otherwise pretty much a Sydney registered club. Cold beer, bar food (not talking about top floor restaurant)
pro - nice view on the balcony area. cons - do not buy coffee from the bar area. paid $5 for a soy flat white that would not have arrived as the lady did not even write down my order. there was 50% foam in the flat white, to which the lady carelessly responded "we're not baristas" . do not charge $5 for a coffee if you are unable to make it. rude service.
Club the best. Outlook great. Restaurant food kinda disappointing. We had the spaghetti marinara special and fish and chips. The seafood apart from the mussels and the fish tasted like they came from a frozen supermarket packet.
Nice inexpensive food. We arrived early enough to score six seat table on verandah.
Drinks and view are amazing. Food is overpriced and probably from the freezer at coles. Eat at home.
Good food for the price, great staff, picturesque location and wonderful, relaxed atmosphere
Staff friendly and willing to go out of there way to accommodate, food exceptional recommend the calamari and the Salomon and prawn salad
This place used to be good, the menu’s price has gone up but the food quality has gone downhill , I’ve ordered the mussels and my partner ordered the steak sandwich and they were both cold and overpriced. Apparently they renovated the place but it still looks old and unkept, especially the outdoor furniture, chairs and tables looks like they are rotting away. The only good thing about this place is the water view, I’m very disappointed with this place , it’s not like the way it used to be.
