This crew do a great coffee - it doe get a bit busy at times, but they are great. The pizzas at Locale are also great.

Hands down, the Best mocha in Canberra.... .....Not arguably friends, but most definitely. Also the only coffee place in Canberra roaring to go prior to 7.10am every morning - come rain, hail or shine. That’s super impressive in my eyes, as (up until I began frequenting Doubleshot) I was used to being turned away from barista’s anything prior to 7.30am - Anyone with kids know that a good coffee is a required by 6am Standard to keep sane! 😂 It’s a place that is warm, vibrant and upon every visit has exhuded an atmosphere that is nothing short of charismatic & addictive! The staff are cool in a “humble-cool” way..... and it doesn’t have that prententious prep vibe permeating throughout most Canberra cafes at present!! (No offence intended with that- just being me!) The decor is on point, the uniforms are so cool that they have been merchandised & avail to purchase, and the music is vibin’ - it’s one of the very few cafe’s in Canberra that is not ruined by an Idiotbox that patrons are glued to ..... Honestly, it’s just an all-round super positive & atmospheric experience. Special mention goes to the raw vegan l Lime & pistachio slice. (From what I can see) a very informed & conscious decision to predominantly stock more raw vegan slices rather than sugar-filled, teeth-rotting, child-possessing goodies has a massive thumbs up and flag of support from myself & peers. Always, always a favourite - Originally from Melbourne/Sydney and made the move to Canberra about 4 years back. Happy to be living in Red Hill - just a hop, skip & jump from this Haven in Deakin.....do yourself a favour Canberrians... Doubleshot in Deakin will not disappoint. Stopped in for a quick hot chocolate. It was very nice. The service was friendly, but slow which is why I only scored 4 stars.

Good food but there's a bit of a wait, so order early!

Great menu, good for groups, pre-book, also good for coffee and cake
