53 Labouchere Rd, South Perth
Excellent taste, cooked from fresh ingredients and after receiving the order. Ice cream rolls with lots of different flavours is a must to try. Will be back again.
The place is awesome to try Indian street food plus handcrafted icecream for the people in South Perth, Vic park and surrounding suburbs.....owner was personally looking after your order...highly recommended
Not too sure about this place. There seems to be a case of multiple personalities, and it's hard to find it. When you first see the place you're not sure if it's and ice cream Cafe, Indian supermarket or dosa place.. The fact that they also do dry cleaning (according to a sign) doesnt help clarify the picture. The manager was very friendly and greeted us and found a seat, and encouraged us to do the all you can eat option (the menu or lack of and prices seem to funnel customers to this option). On the day $20/a head. Which was reasonable for the nice food we did receive. However this was mitigated by the slow service and uncomfortable seats. They've just opened recently so maybe growing pains, I would probably give them another go but wouldn't be rushing back too soon. Good luck and hope they can make some improvements in service delivery.
Very disappointed with the quality of food and service. Went with family and friends and they took us to the upstairs and had to waste Hours to get dosa served in with was served in 30 minutes intervals. The tall guy speaks very speaks as though he owns the Crown Metro! Never again fr sure!!
Good food great atmosphere thoroughly enjoyed Very much recommended
Food was fantastic loved it, when leaving we thanked everybody there for such a wonderful food...
Good dosa
We ate here for the first time last night and it was a fantastic experience. Not only was the food amazing but the service was great. I had hoped for good food as the place came well recommend for the street food. The food was more than good. It was so authentic and so flavoursome. I can't leave a review without mentioning just how seriously impressed I was with the service though. I suffer with anaphylaxis. My allergy is to mustard. Not always the easiest thing to avoid in Indian food. The owner was so attentive and checked every dish to see what was and wasn't safe and he went above and beyond by making me a dosa with chutney that didn't contain mustard. The service by the staff was also superb. Super impressed and will definitely be going back and recommending to others.
Food was authentic, finger-licking good, ambiance was calm, and the owner and staff were very humble. Give that place a shot, you wonβt regret it, thatβs for sure.
You are better off making dosas at home because they will be crisp like dosas are supposed to be. You also won't be forced to buy Mt Franklin at $5.49! (They insist that you can't have tap water) The guy assured us that the masala dosa was mild. He was either lying or does not understand the meaning of mild as the dosa was filled with green chilies and inedible. The only good thing is the ambience for which I give them a star.
