My partner and I visited today with our 4 year old son. He absolutely loved it, we all did. We got there just after opening and in time for feeding! The staff/volunteers were so friendly and approachable. They had lots of knowledge. My son enjoyed all the extra interactive things to do as well. Once we were all done we headed outside and one of the amazing volunteers asked if we would like to see the baby fish. Great experience all round. It is a small centre but for young kids we thought it was great.

Great experience. It is not every day you can interact with such beautiful wild animals. This review is mainly about the swim experience. Staff is really friendly, full of knowledge and happy to share it. We had a incredible time in the water. You actually spend a lot of time in the water and get the chance to approach the dolphin. I would say we had seen maybe 40-50 dolphins from the boat and on the water. Worth every penny.

Heaps of fun, well worth a visit. Try to hang around for the feeding, very entertaining and educational

Great for families, an unexpected treasure trove. Beautiful fish displays and a great touch and feel presentation tank. The 360° dolphin room was a bit of a disappointment being just a tepid projection video but the theatre video was actually quite nice.

I left this tour hiding tears of disappointment & embarrassment. If you do this $165 tour, take your friends so u dont get stuck with rude & selfish customers like i did + too many people to have your time you paid for too! Each time dolphins were sighted, i got stepped on or pushed out of the way. The dolphins came close everyone got their chance near the dolphins except me, i found it hard to hide my sadness In the end i just remained on the boat. The 1st interaction the "group" had was incredible- except i didn't get this. I did not see even 1 dolphin under water, like the rest of the group. I did not get anywhere near them, probably was closest om the boat! If this was everyone's experience & nature being nature i would not feel ripped off but it was not. Just mine. The only reason this gets any stars is 3 of the volunteers were nice to me. Sadly, to add insult to injury, at the end of the tour, one of the other selfish customers turned on the cold shower & soaked everything in my bag inc. my phone because she wouldn't wait 2seconds after I'd already waited after her once. I definitely do not recommend this tour to disabled, anxiety disorders, mature, inexperienced or slow swimmers. This was a tour i chose to try cheering myself up after a terrible loss in my own family. This was my "connection" into the world again, to remind me the world ain't so bad & still beautiful. I left here feeling even worse (soaked through with no clothes thx to pushy rude) This experience was a huge leap for my anxieties, 1st time in 20yrs &instead I left worse! No photos, no in water sighting, not even an echo...but everybody else in that tour got this inc. Staff! I dreamt of this my whole life. Such an upsetting outcome. UPDATE- AFTER ADVICE FROM A FRIEND, I CALLED THE CENTRE TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE & SEE IF THERE IS ANYTHING THEY COULD DO TO MAKE IT UP TO ME. REMEMBER, THIS IS $165 & WHAT WAS MEANT TO BE JUST AS SPECIAL FOR ME AS OTHERS. THE RECEPTIONIST SAID SHE'D PASS ON MY DETAILS. I GUESS NO CALL BACK OR RESPONSE. MEANS "NO". SHE ALSO SAID SHE'D SEEN THEIR PHOTOS OF THE DOLPHINS ON THAT TOUR! WELL I'M GLAD you GOT THAT, ALONG WITH THE OTHER CUSTOMERS, BECAUSE I DID NOT GET ANY AT ALL!! NOR DID I GET NEAR TO WHAT ALL THE OTHER PEOPLE IN THE GROUP WERE BLESSED TO HAVE IN THIS EXPERIENCE. IT IS DISAPPOINTING & UNFAIR FOR 1 PERSON DUE TO DISABILITY TO MISS OUT LIKE THIS I have nothing to take with me from this to hold as my wonderful experience, not even close to a dolphin like all the other people in the group, not even an Echo. How is that kind or fair? I desperately wanted this unique possibility & it was there but only i missed out. Anyone who is less capable &/or disabled like me, do not do this tour. At least do not let any other of the customers push you out of the way or make you feel like a loser who doesn't deserve what they take for themselves. Get what you dreamed all your life (paid a lot of money for) Rang again the next day. I got the impression they did not like me. I was told the CEO had just lost his Mother. I'm sorry for him yet how dare your staff member "Tiffany" throw this guilt-trip at me, but show me nothing kind when I'm going through loss too. You could've offered me just a small kindness, anything to make it up. Instead i got an email with distorted truth& lies. DON'T ASK FOR ANOTHER CHANCE OR HELP! SHARING YOUR SADNESS,IF YOU MISS OUT, WILL GET U MISTREATED & SPOKEN TO LIKE A DIFFICULT PIECE OF GARBAGE. SHE MADE ME FEEL AWFUL FOR ASKING FOR ANY KINDNESS YET DEMANDED IT FOR THE BOSS. I WAS MADE TO FEEL AWFUL FOR SAYING SOMETHING, "GUILTED" REPEATEDLY THAT THE CEO HAD A LOSS. SO HAVE I but AT LEAST I SHOWED SOME COMPASSION! THEY EVEN MADE UP STORIES THAT I DID NOT WANT TO SNORKEL WHICH IS TOTALLY UNTRUE! I WAS JUST NEW&DISABLED! I DID NOT SEE A DOLPHIN UNDERWATER LIKE THEY CLAIMED. SHE ALSO TOLD ME THE WHOLE GROUP WAS "BUZZED" AS THOUGH I WAS THE DOWNER. HENCE WHY I TRIED TO KEEP MY DISAPPOINTMENT TO MYSELF ON THE BOAT. DO NOT ASK FOR UNDERSTANDING OR COMPASSION, YOU WON'T GET ANY! Shame on you.

There's much more than just information about dolphins here. You can touch a starfish, learn about seahorses, and see a small octopus too. There are lots of buttons around to press and a colouring desk where you can scan your fish, crab or turtle then see your design appear on a tank screen. The sandpit with rakes shows with contour lines how the movement of water causes land and sea to change positions over time. The gift shop is fairly priced for a tourist area. The café has tasty food and drinks with vegetarian and vegan options. The milkshakes are strong. The sunlight coming in the window is warming in May when the winds are chilly.

Enjoyed our visit to the centre. It was great learning about the rehabilitation for the turtles and the conservation work the centre do. Great conversation with friendly volunteers too. The exhibits were approachable and pleasant. The octopus was a favourite.

Very good and educational place to visit while you're in the area. A great spot with or without the kids for anyone even slightly interested in our aquatic world.
