Best dumplings in Canberra hands down just be prepared to wait, totally worth it, as the line is out the door sometimes. Great variety, options for everyone and a really lovely staff and located in a really interesting little shopping district I highly recommend Dickson Dumpling House.

had dinner in this restaurant first time last Wed and it was moderately busy. Food was quite tasteless. Ordered a garlic prawns and it came with 5-6 prawns and a heap of onions. Flavour wise was tasteless. Unusual for a chinese restaurant. I complained and exchanged it for a chicken dish, it came in a huge soup plate full of liquid and floating fat. Flavour was same or worse than the garlic prawns. We also ordered typical roast duck it it was edible, it also lacked flavour and even salt. Not sure why people will come to this place. I don't recommend it at all.

We had 14 dumplings, fried rice with lots of prawns and drink for $23. This fed the family of 4 and we had a sufficient quantity. The food was of high quality and the service was fast and friendly. The restaurant has lots of space and was peaceful.

Very good service, I have been here many times with family and friends. I recommend the Bún bò Huế.

Always good value. Good food, fast service, reasonable prices, popular for good reason.

Quality has really plummeted. Sweet sour pork pieces mostly pieces of fat / tendon with thick oily batter. Hardly any meat, which is almost rock hard and dried up. Add on top raw inedible onion chunks making up a good proportion of the dish. This is not Chinese. Finally, their 10% discount for takeaway is really 7.5% off... false advertising. My bill $39.02 became $40 because they round UP to nearest dollar. They think it's reasonable to add a $0.98 tax which is not written down on their menu. Any reasonable person would round down to $39. Fine. No point trying to reason with them. Zero customer service, no smiles, no pleasure. Won't be going again soon.

Busy, noisy, slow service and average food. I don't know why it's so popular.
