I had the striploin steak and it was superb. The meat donuts were interesting. It's not that long ago that Preston was a part of Melbourne that you'd suffer to drive through on your way to somewhere nice, and you'd hope to not stop at any red lights, but Dexter's food changes that! Excellent.

Food was awesome! Best rib I have ever had! Pork belly was top tear too. Also the garnish was actually good (generally I rarely eat it) and well complementing the meat

The food was absolutely disgusting, it was FULL of Greasy Dirty Oil that made me go home and VOMIT, not to Mention our Clothes absolutely Stunk of Oil, Get proper ventilation in your shop so people don't go home with smelly Clothes, Seriously Never Coming Back, Bye Byeee.... update 12 hours later still vomiting after eating.

Pulled pork amazing! Service friendly and overall atmosphere great. I liked the salt & lemon sorbet, so refreshing to try something new.

Finally made it to Dexter for my birthday in early December and oh my goodness was I impressed! We tried the meat donut, the beef brisket plate, the pork belly plate & the cobb salad. This might sound funny but I was obsessed with the cobb salad due to the pickle dressing...yummy! Will definitely be back again soon!!!
