Darband Restaurant

I've read some of the reviews on this place and I'm amazed how people think. They want a rolls Royce at the price of a beat up 20 year old Ford. The place seems to be run by a family. Prices are as low as they can get, quality of food is awesome, they don't cut corners like some indian restaurants who want a decent price but the takeaway container is full of rice and just a bit of curry on top. Not these guys - NOT AT ALL! When you enter you are welcomed by a smiling lady who is slightly reserved when you compare that to Australian standards of a customer service attendant, but hey, cultural differences... Don't we all appreciate and celebrate diversity??? The place is spotless clean, food is delicious, the extras come at no extra price.... Seriously, $13 for a meal that will be enough for a tradesman!!! Guys, we should support this business and some of you who just put on reviews while only ever dined out cheap, seriously, get a life. If at all, this business should put their prices up and expand their business to other places. In Australia, (and I'm an immigrant myself) they reward hard work and appreciate good service. You guys deserve better ratings than 3.7 that you have. Sorry, you are being held back because you are not venturing out of Auburn.

Kebab and chicken pieces was ok. Service was very slow. The sauces were just tomato flavoured. Food was a bit bland. Price was good.

Concise menu. Easy to choose what you want to order. Prices are reasonable for food presentation/quantity.
