Authentic Malay food, with good attention to the little (but significant) details that many other operators tend to sacrifice for the sake of price or efficiency when cooking in bulk. I've loved almost everything I've tried on their menu. As a Malaysian, their Nasi Kerabu, Satay, Nasi Kandar, Cucur Udang, and so many more, truly brings me home. Good portions. There are a few eateries around in Adelaide that serve what they call Malaysian food. For people unfamiliar with what that means, Malaysia is comprised of three major ethnic groups - Malay, Chinese, Indian. Eateries that serve Malaysian food generally have dishes from the food cultures of most or all of those 3 groups. Dapur Jiha's menu is Malay, and what a wonderful introduction it is to Malay cuisine. Jiha and Amzar are very friendly, accommodating and hardworking. Can't wait for them to open a restaurant one day!

Ordered numerous times, and not once they have let me down. From taste, presentation and of course, pricing. This is the, and I mean, THE, most authentic Malay food seller (or caterer nowadays) I have tasted in Australian soil. My highlights will always be the Nasi Kerabu, Nasi Dagang, Laksam and Satay, Ikan Bakar Sumbat and Mee Rebus. Nasi Kerabu as an example comes with the ever-so-difficult-to-produce solok lada and surprisingly the price for the set does not even reflect the actual effort put into making these! Pick up from their place is also convenient - smack in the middle of Adelaide (ok slightly North, but still) and here I am driving all the way up from South that takes me close to an hour to get to their place, just when I crave for Nasi Kerabu or Laksam.

The best Malaysian food in Adelaide hands down. Authentic Nasi Kerabu, Nasi Dagang and Sate, all hygienically and freshly prepared with a good portion. I thoroughly recommend and I think Jiha and team will go far!

Ordered Satay, Karipap, Ayam mask merah, Nasi lemak from Dapu Jiha. Best ever Satay and nasi lemak, the portion is generous with the sambal. Sambal and peanut sauce are very delicious. Highly recommended if you looking for authentic Malaysia food and a sumptuous catering to suprise your guests :) Jiha and Hamzah very very friendly and lovely couple. Try their food and you will go back for more.
