D'Gusto Thai Restaurant

We had a good meal overall, but waited well over an hour for the food to come, which was unusual as the restaurant wasn't even half-full. I had hoped by ordering some spring rolls and dim sum dishes, they would have at least made an earlier appearance, but we sat waiting with nothing on the table. The staff were apologetic, and even offered a small complimentary dish while we waited, but only after we raised concerns on the time. Unfortunately it seemed they were prioritising takeaway, which is understandably popular as the food, when it did come, was tasty and well priced!

This joint is no good. People only go here because there is no decent Thai in the area.

We had a very long wait (1hr) but service was very polite and truly sorry. The seafood hot plate was excellent at a very reasonable price, veggie dumplings were tasty but Pad Thai was average and flavourless (I'll recommend to go for another choiche from the chef's suggestions).

Everything was way too sweet. It was like eating dinner and dessert at the same time especially the green curry. Obviously tailored to Aussie tastes and I would also give it 5 stars if I didn't know better. Please less sugar. I want the Thai spice, herbs, aromatics, sourness, saltiness and fishiness.

First time dining at D'Gusto Thai. We all enjoyed the food - some really lovely, well-defined flavours. Will definitely be back.

Always a good experience with very sweet , genuine staff. Consistently good food.
