are you open on christmas day

I came to the restaurant last week and fell in love with the tea and scone service. I loved the tea served with a silver set. Any chance you would sell any of your sets?

The scones were bloody amazing, and the coffee was delicious. Had the eggs royale too, really yummy. Ordered a second scone and coffee. Wished I had room for more.

This quaint little café oozes character & charm from every nook & cranny. The moment you step inside the smells & styling of this busy little place overwhelms the senses, in all the right ways. I’m yet to have a meal here & have only had the coffee & Russian Honey Cake. The coffee is second to none! Hands down the very best I’ve enjoyed in a very long time! And the Russian Honey Cake should be famous if it isn’t already. An unbelievably tasty combination & one I would return for time & time again. All round, delightful.

Love this place, lovely food, cheerful staff and pretty old fashioned mismatched tea crockery. Used to go for morning or afternoon tea but a good place for lunch too. Very nice in the sun in the garden out the back too.

I've been hesitant to write this review, being a local we want our town to kick goals everywhere, but after giving these guys a couple goes now after moving here recently I felt the need to write this: First time I came in, it was 11:25am, kitchen stops doing breakfast at 11:30am so they didn't want to take my breakfast order. Got a piece of cake and a coffee to go, happy days. Second time I went in early enough so there would be no reason not to take my breakfast order, ordered eggs benedict. Took 20-25mins to make one serve. Bacon was cold, eggs were cold and hard set, hollandaise sauce was oddly sickly sweet and reminiscent of a cheap tomato sauce tang? Only thing warm on the plate was the one slice of toast, which was quickly becoming a stretch to even call it warm. Told the owner, who took it on board and did genuinely appear annoyed at the chef. Third time, coffee and cake to go, happy days. Fourth time, coffee and almond croissant to go. This was at 8:30 in the morning, they were just getting into the swing for the day. Coffee tasted burnt, as if the machine hadn't been cleaned in awhile and granules had built up in the drip. Croissant was packet bought from Coles or Woolies and pumped full of bland frangipane, so much so the inside of the croissant still tasted of raw egg. And as these were just out of the oven and sitting at approximately 30ish degrees, I wouldn't want to be the customer that bought one at the end of the day. Serious Food Safety hazard. Lift your game Czegs...
