The first thing that you'll experience is the wonderful aroma of coffee once you step inside. A huge selection of really unique and interesting gelato flavours - including the worlds best - the 'Mandorla Affogato' and lots of other award winning flavours. A few non-dairy options available too which is fantastic. Great value - 2 generous scoops for $6.50 and a great ambience inside, cosy, great decor and energy and friendly efficient staff. They are proudly displaying their awards on the back wall. What a great asset to this amazing region in Sydney.
I didn't enjoy this experience. It is not possible to taste gelato flavours before you buy them. You might end up paying $6.50 for a single scoop of something you hate. Annie the manager would not allow a taste of any of the flavours, apparently it is their policy. I don't think this is a good policy for a gelato shop, especially one offering creative flavours. I also did not enjoy the milkshake. It was just like flavoured milk. The texture was the same as milk. It was not what I expected.
Beautiful rich creamy cappuccino. So good. Yes.
Tasty ice-cream, the service is quick as the queue forms quickly out from no where. They are generous with the serving sizes and know how to pack ice cream in takeaway tubs. The chocolate is my favorite flavour always smooth.
Been a fan since we tried their affogato ice cream. Why not 5 stars then? Too bad we found an authentic gelato shop in Redfern. π
Delicious sweets as usual! Highly recommend trying their vanilla flavour - very creamy and milky.
Iβve yet to find a better gelato here in Sydney. The affogato temporarily fixes any problems in your life, itβs that good! 5 stars for sure.
Such a yum yum experience, had mango and strawberry sorbet, so rich in texture and flavour, and so light after eating. Would definitely recommend it.
Tried a few flavours ( black sesame and some coffee flavoured one in the picture) I loved the earl grey one the most. Very flavourful and subtle. Black sesame was good but I personally would love a stronger taste. Pistachio was another winner for me. Overall very yummy and would come back again to try the different flavours
There's a lot of competition for gelato nearby β Ma Po, Messina, Ben & Jerry's, and Hakiki. The gelato at Cow & the Moon used to be SO GOOD but it has become very sugary-sweet. Cherry Mania used to be a revelation β now, the mix-ins clump together and the flavours are imbalanced. I guess simpler popular flavours are a better business proposition than more complicated layered flavours.
