Piper St S on the corner with View St 2038, Annandale
Lovely coffee and good food.
It would be a healthy meal if you are vegetarian :-) im not. Small portion and not perfect for me. I got vegan rice bowl. Spicy and predictable. I expected too much. really spicy so if you are not good at it, think about another option. Im pretty good at spicy food. Another meal is tacos. Vegetarian tacos. Good presentation. Colourful and clean finish but nothing special. Not good customer service. No piccolo latter take-away cups. However! Their coffee was amazing! Barista had sophisticated skills. ππ» Coffee waa super aromatic with a strong kick at the end of the sip. After couple of sips, every time i breathe in, i could feel full of aromas and beautiful coffee flavours. Thatβs why i got piccolo to take away after large flat white.
Lovely food but rude & unfriendly waitress.
The staff were pleasant however I waited almost 10 minutes for a take away coffee whilst the staff made one coffee at a time in between their conversations. Obviously customer service isn't "cool".
The food was delicious. I rearranged the food on the plate. The individual staff member was de shelved as if he just got out of bed. I thought he was a customer. His brain was soft, his words.
Consistently excellent food and coffee. Service is efficient and friendly. Be ready to queue at busy times on the weekend. Lovely space, with outdoor seating at the back, and across the road from a park. Delicious sweet treats and pickles to take home too.
Great little place with a big heart. Family run, with a conscience, Cornersmith makes good coffee and G R E A T food. Set well away from the Saturday Battle of Booth Street, it almost feels like a secret, except that there is so many locals here. No place else in Annandale feels quite so chill on a Saturday morning to be honest which is probably what I like best about Cornersmith. We had waffles in this occasion, both the cinnamon and sugar, and the yoghurt sorbet and caramel. That yoghurt sorbet was an absolute delight and is, alone, enough to go back here.
Rude service. The lady that made our coffees responded to us in a rude manner. Just not pleasant. A simple polite way to talk to customers would have made a difference in my opinion about this cafe.
Food was ok but rude service. Staff got no manner just threw cutleries on the table. She needs to learn some basic etiquette of treating customer.
Great place for coffee, sandwiches and a little dessert
