a little dearer here f eggs on toast thn back in Adelaide.Staff kind enough to let hs have kids menu.eggs n bacon in toasted turkish bread.it came open style.no top.It didnt state on menu. We'd planned t share it.So,bit sml.Same Turkish egg n bacon roll wld be both sides f same price.Adult menu.Coffee was weak.bt rectified. Most things on menu pricey. No pension discounts here to encourage the locals n visitors to venture out everyday. oh well.Quite nice looking cafe tho.Rhey need some cheaper items.
Not accessible for customers without the QR app. Because I was holding what staff assumed was a smart phone, they insisted I wasn't allowed to write my details in the paper register on the counter. We had a lovely lunch elsewhere, where we were allowed to write our details in their covid register, as per covid tracing regulations. Staff weren't rude, just wrong.
We had the Breakfast burger and Bircher Musli. Food came out quickly which was nice. The burger was what you would expect but the 'Tropical musli' that suggested seasonal fruit, had withered (been in the fridge too long) strawberries and canned fruits. Not what I would consider tropical or worth it for the $17. Tried to give feedback to staff who just said "sorry, have a nice day".
Good food . Coffee cold. Service good.
We kindly ask if we can use there toilet as my 4yrs old need to take the washroom. Denied ask for customer use only.😓
Nice breakfast, great coffee. One of a few breakfast spots open on Tuesday. Would come back. Website, google maps and Facebook opening times all different and needs updating.
We only had a coffee..... so this is based only on that. It was made just how we asked. Even tho it was busy we got it in good time. Certainly would recommend cockles Cafe! ☕☕☕
Busy little cafe in summer. Awesome food and really good coffee. Would recommend to anyone stopping past of you can get a free table.
The new menu is good but needs to include more diverse dietary requirements but is absolutely bang on with this dish pictured (greens & grains with felafel), coffee is great too and the wait staff are excellent. Not necessarily a bad thing but I will always stay longer at a cafe if I have access to Wi-Fi mainly so I can work from my laptop. If you're visiting in school holidays, reserve a table unless you're happy to dine outside.
Really long wait for breakfast. Around 30 mins. Not sure if they forgot our order? Nice coffee and okay food.
