Disappointing food. With only 1 other table in use, being busy isn't an excuse. Poached Eggs were over cooked and dry. Onion Jam is just cooked onion.... Wife's meal risotto was undercooked and rice was still hard. They don't come over to check how the food is, so we had to go up and say something. They were good in replacing it for sweet potato waffles with scrambled eggs. However everything came out super oily. The waffle hash browns were clearly thrown into a Not hot deep fryer, which meant it soaked up all the oil, it was super oily with no taste. Had to request a second plate to transfer the oily eggs and bacon so it wasn't dripping with oil. No one again asked how food was, so my wife ended up eating the eggs and a bit of bacon, my mother in law ate the waffles even though she didn't like them, she didn't want it to go waste. Called manager over to advise about the food, who then reported to kitchen. No apology. Wasn't expecting a discount so that was fine, but a simple sorry from the Manager would have been nice. Went to pay, they over charged, saying it was because it was a large drink when they already charged for the large. Only by $1 but considering the food was awful, and the service wasn't great that didn't make us feel any better. Things to learn. Don't deep fry waffles, that's what a waffle iron is for! If your going to deep fry, make sure the oil is hot! Invent an onion sauce, or don't advertise it as a sauce if it's got no sauce. When poaching eggs, run under cold water to stop them cooking and then blanch them in hot water before serving. Otherwise advertise them as hard boiled. Check your bills. Over charging on top of a 15% public holiday surcharge is just not on! In saying all that, I'd go again but never ever again for anything other than a desert.

Raspberry Farm Café is more than a name here, with alpacas for kids to pet, a lovely pond filled with ducks to walk around, wallabies in the undergrowth and a cubby house and play equipment for kids to burn off energy. There’s plenty here for adults too. Raspberry Farm opens early enough for it be a good breakfast stop off the ferry, and provides decent tea and coffee to go with the massive serves. Then, take a lovely short walk around the pond, check out the massive raspberry farm at the back, and stock up on berries for the rest of your trip. Plenty of free parking, lovely staff, very quick service even when the tables were filling up fast and a good choices of meals for all ages and diets, including gluten free.

It was very nice the last time we were there. The front of house staff was friendly and helpful enough to get us a table outside and the other waiting staff was so so welcoming and patient to give us enough time to look at the menu. Food was ok but it was the service that makes us want to come back. This time was totally different. The front of house staff was very unfriendly, did not give even a very small welcoming smile. All she did was just standing there and gave us an uncomfortable look. There were roughly 7 or 8 tables available but she did not even try to look at the booking list to see if she could fit us in and just denied us right the way. I did not even have the chance to finish my sentence. Her reason was that the next available table would be in an hour which would be roughly at 2pm. I know they close at 3pm. So what is the point of having 8 tables for 4 still available at 1pm and not trying to have any more guess in? There were no one in the queue except us. We drove 45mins there but for this unwelcome attitude we would not wait for another minute to leave after being denied. I know the job is hard and you don’t always like everyone but it is part of the job to maybe give every customer a try with a table and a welcoming smile. To be honest, this place is out of my list and would never recommend this place to any friend of mine.

Stopped for breakfast. I got the Raspberry French Toast, its like a delicious chocolate and raspberry French toast sandwich with fresh cream and raspberries on the side. My partner had a small waffle, which he said was just as yummy. Everything was delicious, the coffee is good, service is friendly and fast. The scenery you look out on is beautiful and there is a cubby/big lawn for kids to run around on. I would suggest booking as we were lucky to get a table. A must stop for anyone travelling near here

Not too busy at 10am, but had a few reserved tables & a few breakfast diners in. Breakfast looked good, but we decided a quick stop was in order on our way to Latrobe. So we had a couple of coffees & great muffins with dollop cream & Raspberries.
