Casa Cibo

Let's start with the good... Great pasta across all our dishes. But it ends there... pizza bread was raw, and calamari overcooked and brown. Before anyone says anything, I have spent years in Food and Beverage to know oil that is not changed, and raw dough. Could not fault the pastas. Now the reason we would not be back. I came with 2 kids and 2 adults, stood at the entrance and no attempt to greet. Finally got acknowledgement and seat at a table not set up properly and got told we are looking and getting this set up. Will bring some cutlery over... it never came except the fork. Got main meals sent to us and requested we put in the centre, usually a cue for side plates but we had to ask. Then we had to ask to clear our drinks as well. I never even knew it was kids eat free Sunday nor was anyone told about it, but that aside I was happy to pay full price for my meals and unfortunately, the lack of attentiveness from the staff, or a lack of training from the manager basically tells me not to waste my time here again..

First time visiting / the Woodfire ovens made me come / because it is very hard to fine a Good Pizza these days & finally have to look no further !! Great Pizzas / lovely Ambience about the Place inside & outside tables amongst all the green plants!! Great Staff /will be back !!

I have visited on 3 separate occasions. First two the food was so delicious. The third I visited around a month ago for a quiet Monday lunch with my friend and sister, and I ordered a tomato based pasta dish, so did my friend. The food we were served was lukewarm mostly and slightly hotter in different parts of the pasta, and had quite a salty taste to the pasta. That afternoon was spent on the toilet. The following day at 2am I had full blown food poisoning, and didn’t relieve for two days. Never felt so sick. When I was feeling better I tried to call the company numerous times but they would not answer their phones. VERY disappointed in lack of professionalism of not answering calls, and clearly shortcuts of some kind being taken. Whether it’s pasta left out or being cooked twice, not sure. Please do better.

Unfortunately the service we received tonight was below average. Our order was messed up and a main meal was missed. It was hard to get anyones attention and there was a lack of awareness from the floor staff that there was an issue. We raised the issue 3 times with different staff members and no communication was provided to us on the status of the missed ordered meal. The only staff member that noticed something was up was the pizza chef who directed another staff member to finally come to talk to us. It was a disappointing dining experience, given our previous visit was good. The food we did receive was satisfactory.

After reading some very negative reviews about Casa Cibo, I decided to give it a crack. Went for dinner last Saturday night and was quietly surprised! The food was outstanding and very reasonably priced! But, I will say the service was a little slow at the beginning of the evening and I understand this was due to the fact the restaurant was fully booked! Other than that, I give Casa Cibo 5 stars 🎇🎇🎇🎇🎇

A great atmosphere, attentive staff checking for drinks promptly while we read the menu. Delicious meals came out without too much wait.. and the kids meals came out first which is a good thing....I prefer dining up stairs less noise, down stairs had a vibrant atmosphere, on a whole highly recommended for a great night out.

We had a great Mother's Day lunch at on the upstairs deck at Casa Cibo. Table service was friendly and quick. The meals (especially my prawn risotto were delicious. Drinks prices were fair. All in all, a really pleasant experience.

It's a big place over two floors, nice food although the woodfired pizza wasn't my favourite. Heaps of staff and they're all friendly and helpful, plenty of drinks on offer from the bar, and a big menu of Italian food. Would definitely go back.

I had my 21st birthday at Casa Cibo and couldn’t be happier with the service and food. I had 20 people in a pretty private room at one big table and meals where organised prior to the event to ensure dishes were delivered at the same time. It was well organised, the food was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone celebrating anything.
