My wife and I dined at this restaurant on the 19th of October. My wife ordered the Rolled Pork Belly and an off the menu cocktail and I ordered the Roast Chicken and a crème brulee for dessert. The french influence of this place started and ended with the menu as the menu was in French with only a very simple description, thankfully, the staff were happy to help and they were very attentive and polite throughout our whole experience. While the staff were wonderful, the food the other hand really wasn’t much. There was nothing wrong with the food, however there was certainly nothing special, especially for 30 dollars + each. The food was below par compared to pub food, my wife even saying she’s had similar french fries at McDonalds. My chicken was rather dry and my wife and I both tasted soy sauce, something that should not be in a french jus. I did enjoy the meal, however if being pressed I would have paid 12 dollars maximum for it, not the 33 dollar asking price. My wife’s pork I felt was over-salted and the sauce it came with was a bit too strong for my liking. The potatoes were nice however. For dessert I ordered a crème brulee and my wife opted for an off the menu cocktail. For fairness reasons the cocktail and the crème brulee did not have an effect on the overall score of this review, as it was my first time trying the crème brulee so I don’t have a comparison and the cocktail isn’t a menu item. I also ordered a flat white which was very nicely made. Sadly, due to the cost of the meals, I cannot recommend this place. As a note to the owner, I recommend dropping the prices considerably.

Was great to start. But then waited over 40 mins for dessert, they clearly forgot us. Staff seemed more interested in people coming in rather than the people actually in the restaurant. I'm sorry but if you are wanting a fine dining experience don't go to this restaurant as they are still learning.

Excellent place to stay overnight. Very clean and comfortable. Food/wine night in the restaurant was very nice (though $$$$) but we will look forward to planning another visit soon. Thank you Camille and hosts
