19 Havelock Ave 2034, Coogee
Cute little unassuming cafe serving simple French brunch. The gluten free croque monseiur was deliciously cheesy and the smoked salmon was very fresh. Coffee is average.
Nice place, very informal. Overpriced and you have to have two courses. [edit as per response below] Dishes are not priced - itβs a per head thing. Menu is limited.
We woke and said letβs have Rafs/Tanyaβs/chefs food ... Perfectly delicious every time π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯ Thankyou ππβ β π
Got off the bus there down to lovely Coogee.
I was quite keen to come here, as I had read so many positive things about this cafΓ©. The food quality was definitely ok, however the service was far below average. Both waitresses did not greet us, nor were they smiling or making any efforts to be polite. Maybe they simply had a bad day, however keeping in mind that you pay comparable prices at locations closer to the beach you might want to reconsider coming here.
Delicious french bistro. My partner and I had onion soup, mussels, duck breast, sirloin steak, creme brulee and crepes. All were superb. The wine list is short but interesting and whoever chose the wines put in a lot of thought. I'd love to see a bit more variety with the digestives but apart from that I highly recommend this lovely little restaurant.
Breakfast crepes and freshly squeezed orange juice, what more could I ask for?!
Terrible service. Coogee is blessed with many great cafe. I suggest you give this one a miss and find another one with more friendly service.
Quality ingredients, great cooking, great wine... You feel like you are in one of those small quirky Parisian restaurants... Loved it and will be back!
Incredible croque madame!
