Cafe Palazzo

Tasty food. Smashed avocado and poached eggs on sourdough. Service was good too. A great catchup with friends.

I dined here on a recent trip to Adelaide with my family and I had quite a polarising experience. Once we were seated they didn't even offer us a kids menu. My wife was looking forward to trying the fish and chips. Overall a pretty average experience, too fancy for my family. If you're looking for fine dining in North Adelaide this place is a decent option, but if you have young kids I'd probably eat elsewhere.

Popped in here for breakfast on a Sunday. Good selection on the menu. The poached eggs on the bread with a avocado, feta and lemon was very tasty. Looking forward to coming back to try more!

Went here last night for our friend's birthday the meals were lovely and a generous size and the staff were nice will be coming back here again

Everytime we dine here we always leave satisfied. As my daughter was starving (like all kids always are) when we arrived I proceeded to order her meal first, Cafe Palazzo nailed it and got her meal out asap, even the split ordering of kids / main meals didn't phase the staff in the slightest. The rest of the meals were either so delicious we made sure to scrape the plates clean or feel a bit unwell from over indulging in such brilliant food. Even a change to the pasta from the menu was executed with professionalism both by the staff and kitchen. Very impressed and will constantly come back. Price is spot on for North Adelaide.

The seafood pasta was worse than expected, it was way too hot and too soft, seems like microwaved for too long

Good Italian food that reminds me of my cafe hopping mis spent younger days. It also reminds me of Naked Gun comedy when Frank knocks out and ties up Enrico Palazzo the Opera singer character so he could replace him at a base ball game where the villain was planning to murder the Queen. After he saves the day the crowd all recognize him as Enrico Palazzo.

Ordered Bacon and eggs on Sunday morning, after 25 minutes waiting the plate was on my table with the toast still soft and the bacon already cold. Two stars for the croissant which is not bad.

Two stars just for the customer service. We were a big group and they made their very best to accommodate us. Food is fast food quality. I had a tasteless mushroom risotto, consisting in just huge chunks of mushrooms that tasted as if they had been cooked separately from the overcooked rice.

Came here for coffee and cake, waited at the entrance as the sign says to wait to be seated but when we advised the waitress that we were there for coffee and cake she just walked away without saying anything and continued whatever she was doing before. Continued to wait until someone asked us again if we were there for lunch, we were then told we could take a seat anywhere, I'm not sure why she didn't say that to start with. I regret not just walking out, the coffee was bad and the cake was forgettable. I've never been here before and I will never go again just based on the service (or lack there of). I can't comment on the kitchen but there are so many amazing places around Adelaide I wouldn't waste my time coming back here to find out.
