Cafe Claire

I love this place - so small and cute, everyone is always so friendly. You can pop here for a quick coffee, or if you're more interested in an instagram worthy breakfast or lunch, the food is super good and super cute. My favourite is the rose pancakes. They also do a "high tea" which I've never had but I've seen others have and it looks like so much fun for a group of friends or a birthday brunch celebration.

This place is just The Business. Their menu is just yummy and their service is so welcoming and friendly. A few outdoor tables and some indoors. Menu is juat as good as it looks on their website. The rose pancakes are to die for. They don't scrimp in toppings.

Ordered eggs Benedict, it came out with a pot of mayo instead of hollandaise sauce! Was told the chef had forgot to make the sauce that morning, was offered to change my order or the bill reduced at all. Won't be going back.

Lovely little cafe nook. Has some gourmet delights along with some simple sandwiches. Does get busy though, at which point it's a bit of a squeeze and the staff are a bit stretched.

Great food with good atmosphere. The mushroom sandwich is really yummy with a tender egg on the top. Staff gives me a warm welcome when I was here.

Omg ! The rose pancakes are so yummy ! It’s beautiful to look at but the rose flavour mixes in the pancake batter was just awesome. I had an amazing experience there , though the cafe is quite small but don’t let the size fool you. It’s perfect for an afternoon break. Fully recommended if you ever stop by at Annandale. I will definitely go there again and try all the other yummy stuff on the menu

Service was great. Food was ok. Couldn't really taste the taro flavour in the taro pancake.

This is a lovely small cafe which offers quite a lot of dishes to suit everyone's needs. The service was sensational, the staff really made you feel welcome. The standard of presentation for the dishes was second to none, this is very evident on Instagram. What I will say is that when there is often a lot of hype around 'instagram worthy' dishes, they sometimes don't provide much else except aesthetics. In the case of Cafe Claire they totally exceeded my expectations; the dishes tasted amazing whilst looking stunning. The rose pancakes were a stand out as they balanced the flavours of rose so well which is hard to do with such strong flavours. I look forward to going back and trying their speciality high tea too. Highly recommended.
