Char Char Restaurant + Bar

Food was amazing. Ate the salt and pepper squid, seafood spaghetti and sticky date pudding. All delicious. The staff had great attention to detail. Lovely location and view. I’ll definitely be going again.

We had our wedding reception at Char Char and it was perfect. We couldn't have asked for better service, the food was amazing and everything went off without a hitch. It was the perfect venue for our small group of 40. Thank you so much to Francine, Jay and all the staff for looking after us.

Amazing restaurant! The view of the harbour is absolutely amazing, especially if you catch it an sunset. The food is incredible, tastes so fresh and you can tell the Chef works really hard to make everything perfect and inventive. The cocktail list to match is great, and they have so many wines to pair with every meal! The service was also fantastic! I recommend Char Char to everyone!

We went to Char Char last night with a couple of friends and we are disappointed. The place is really nice with a beautiful view. However the prices are a little bit higher. We ordered a meat to share and on menu says "two choices of sauce" we chose Garlic prawns and peppercorn. Then, when we got the bill, they charged us for the garlic prawns sauce which we aren't supposed to be charged. We called one of the staff and she said that someone should have told us before (apparently, garlic prawns sauce is the only sauce that is charged). Anyways, we explained that no one told us and she offered us to charge only 50%. Even tough, it wasn't even fair, but we were tired and just wanted to leave and go home. So, we paid for something that nobody told us and also the manager isn't friendly at all. The place has everything to be a really good one, but some amends have to be made.

Went to a wine tasting night, not the greatest venue for this type of thing. One verrry grumpy lady on the plates, but also a very very friendly fella. Food was hit and miss, two cold entrees in winter...nah.

Char Char offers a relaxed experience and the food is excellent - we had the garlic prawns and the scallops to start - and were impressed that the meal size was generous. For mains, we enjoyed the lamb and the salt and pepper squid - both delicious and decently sized. Would return

Beautiful atmosphere and table settings. Some of the staff were a tad unknowelable and easily confused. High quality cuisine, meals were satisfying and tasty.

A large modern restaurant on Success Harbour. Clean, well lit and great friendly staff. A modern menu and a good wine list, with prices starting from AU$39 a bottle.

I paid for a chicken dish just to vomit it all up, it was soo disgusting for an expensive restaurant u would think u would get asparagus instead of peas and cold squished vegetables. I called the next day to notify them and the response was no one else got sick. We paid around 200 in-total for my partner and i might as well of went to crown and gone epicurean

Quick Review: VENUE: 10/10 - Well designed, friendly and great atmosphere and aesthetics. FOOD: 9/10 - Good size portions, nicely presented, lots of flavour. COCKTAILS: 10/10 - The best cocktails I have tasted in Perth to date, made with care, made with flavour and great varieties. Something for everyone! SERVICE: 8/10 - Friendly, helpful staff, only downside was can have an extended wait on your order when the kitchen and bar get overwhelmed with orders. Great place for a sip, sit and chat, make it a night and be open to a small wait between courses when busy.
