Mate! What a makeover! Looks so amazing and the service! Top notch! Can't wait to go back next time I'm up

Service was awful. I arrived at the Tavern at a busy time on a Thursday night as 1. I was starving I headed up to the tills straight away. I had to wait at the till the quiet amount of time because there was a poor staff at the till who was struggling. I asked her just before I left she confirmed it was her first time at the till. Of course, that is okay but why she was by herself at the till at a very busy time? Then I checked the place for sitting and all tables were with the reserved sign. I grabbed a staff in chaos and ask her if she could sit me down. She said that she could not help she did not mean to leave the door, meanwhile, she was entering the bar. And she added if I showed up with no reservation too bad, she cannot do anything but if I wanted I could ask someone else. I asked her to find me someone else. She said she really had to leave. She was very far from helping or at least try to give a level of service, poor person. I was left cutlery and salt and pepper in my hands! She was a caucasian, in the mid-20s, slightly curly hair girl. I have been a manager in a very similar place, I would never bother writing if I was not bothered that much. Food was very nice therefore I decided 2 stars but certainly the staff was struggling, the venue was understaffed, service was terrible it is a shame for such a beautiful place with heaps of competitors around. Love the Broadbeach Tavern, amazing food great prices. I visit quite regularly and cannot fault the venue or Service. Krystal from gaming by far gives the best customer service everytime. Cant speak more highly.

Thank you to the Broadbeach today. Had a wonderful lunch with my family. Definitely will be back on our next holiday.

The place is lovely and the staff are great and very accommodating. However the price of food is OUTRAGOUS. $45 for a surf and turf at what is essentially a sports bar / tavern is pretty steep.3 main meals the other night set us back over $120.
