Breakfast Creek Hotel

I haven't been here for years and was really impressed. Great atmosphere for a catch up with friends, a sneaky drink or a tasty snack or meal. The Himalayan lamb curry was a very generous serve and delicious. I'll be visiting again soon.

Yeah its right what they say about the dry aged steaks here unreal!! However entrees were cold (pork belly)and chicken wings were dry!! 10/10 for steak but 4/10 for entrees... btw staff were awesome and heaters were a nice touch spanish garden 👍

Absolutely appalling and terrible experience. Booked for dinner, arrived early and was told we had to wait for our table to become available, was busy so all good we waited. Went back to concierge at our pre-booked time and was told our table was now available. Only to find people sitting there already and had been sitting there for quite some time. They left and also left the mess behind, my wife went to the bar to ask for our table to be wiped down. Some staff member came over and he wasn’t happy. My wife asked about ordering food as we haven’t been there before, and he mumbled something, (Also asked the concierge the same question, who rattled of a response so quickly, we had no idea what he said) couldn’t understand what he said, so my wife said “Sorry what was that ?” It just got worse from there. He wasn’t the only staff member who appeared to be unhappy, for whatever reason. Also they took the serviette and cutlery holder from our table and never brought it back. So we just left, didn’t sit down and didn’t order. Told the concierge on our way out, and before we even got back to our car my wife received a message on our phone stating that we “Cancelled” our booking !!!. Business that are always busy and treat customers like this is typically due to arrogance. Which usually starts at the top and works its way down. Worst dining experience ever, will NEVER return.

The beer is always super cold and the steaks are the best I've had in Brisbane. The staff are great which tops the visit off nicely. It's a casual,happy atmosphere and I highly recommend it for families.

Thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch of spare ribs here. The service was prompt and efficient even though though the venue was very busy. Great atmosphere. Would recommend and would definitely eat here again.

Good traditional aussie pub, nice vibe and food. Great for a stake and beers night

I usually love this place. I tell everyone that it is where you get the best steak in Brisbane. I was very disappointed last night. My steak was supposed to be medium and was well and truly overcooked, to spend $43 on a steak I would expect it to be right. I had to ask for bread rolls that are normally always given. My daughter ordered fish which was tasteless and my other daughter had a parmi which definitely was not worth the money it cost.I might have to try a new place for a good steak.

Great food and atmosphere. Would recommend for good night out with the boys
