Breakfast Creek Hotel

Used to go here all the time when I worked nearby and I was younger so stopped in yesterday to eat and saw that the prices were through the roof. Could not justify spending that kind of money for lunch. Still a great looking historical venue but looks like it's out of my league now.

Get a XXXX from a wooden keg. Superb.

In the Spanish Restaurant tonight for my son's 21st birthday family dinner ... Courtney our waitress was 10/10. However ALL steaks were WAY over cooked. My "medium-rare petite eye fillet" was more like "medium-to well done" which resulted in a dry tasteless piece of meat. Very Very disappointing - especially considering the prices and the supposed reputation.

Can't come to Brisbane without having a meal here.<br/>Never disappoints.

Great staff, vegetarian dish we ordered was very adverage but the steak meals were good.

A piece of iconic Brisbane history. The XXXX off the wood is bloody great. Rum bar is awesome. Steaks are great but they are pretty expensive. I like the place on a quiet arvo pumping a few cold ones next to the brown snake. Is very busy at times so be prepared for that.

Steak was cooked just right ,very filling meal.

Nice place good food. Big range of rums from all over the world. Great staff at the bar.
