I've never paid $16.50 for a croissant with buttered egg before, but after reading the owner's response to that 1-star review last month, I thought I had to try it. It does taste good - you can definitely taste the butter. It wasn't super oily like that other review. The coffee was good too, nicer than a lot of places here in Brisbane. The next time I'm back for a holiday I would probably drop by again as it makes a great holiday treat! The owners could probably be less acerbic in their review responses though, I was a little worried their in-person service would be similar. Fortunately everyone I interacted with were great.

Really delicious pastries - so much so that we had to visit a second time! Can’t go wrong with any of their croissants. Recommend trying a regular croissant, warmed up, to get an appreciation for the quality and care that goes into the pastry.

The pastries were fantastic. I actually went back and bought a second one after I finished the first. I got a filter coffee, which was market lane from Melbourne, which is my go to normally, so that was awesome. Free refill on the filter as well, which I appreciated. Staff were under the pump on the Sunday morning when we went, but were friendly when I got my second pastry when it was a little more chill.

Pastries and highlight on the Walnut Croissant. After 2 years traveling in the country, probably best pastry I’ve tried. Bit expansive but quality. Nice coffee. Good bread, only sourdough though.

Food here was excellent! Atmosphere was fun. Staff seemed focused on the bakery, and less interested in walk-in customers, but it is a business I guess.

The pastries at this place are indescribable. These are pastries built by the hand of Gods. Who even IS the God of pastry? Vesta? Hestia? Both of them had a hand in delivering my chickpea roll today. Just divine.

Excellent looking venue, with hip staff and cool music. The support for local artists is a nice touch. Unfortunately my Eggs Benedict looked like two scoops of ice-cream on the plate. Taste-wise it was ok, though I felt the hollandaise had a strong sour flavour. Very simplistic construction. Definitely not worth $21. Should've gone for the pastries...
