Went today (01.01.2021) for brunch with my friend and ordered toast with eggs and paid extra for tomatoes and spinach.I was very clear with my order but waiting staff seemed too distracted working on their laptop. When my order arrived , I got mushrooms instead of tomatoes. I was polite enough not to return the dish and simply mentioned the mistake at the end as I paid extra for the tomatoes I didn’t get. Instead of acknowledging their mistake, staff member became defensive and asked “ but we gave you these beautiful mushrooms, weren’t you happy with them ?” . Not sure if staff were some inexperienced casuals as it’s a public holiday, but will never return for such poor customer service and average food.

Always take a walk to Bononia after dinner in Melbourne St to have gelato. The pistachio is very subtle, the chocolate is very rich and the gelato is so creamy.

Bononia makes the best real Italian gelati in Adelaide. Prices are aligned to all other gelati places ( $6.90 two scoops, not sure why the lady below claims to have paid $7.90 for one scoop??), but quality of ingredients is better.
