SUCH GOOD MEAT! My husband ordered blue & I ordered medium rare steaks & they were cooked perfectly. Friendly staff, well rounded menu wrapped up in a beautifully Hunter feel environment. The fire pit outside is awesome. If you're staying close by they offer a transfer service to their venue from your hotel.

Please read before booking! I have given Blaxland a 5 star review before. But after tonight I will never be returning. I ordered the Wagyu rump and my wife ordered the T bone and we wljotbbotdered medium steaks. When our steaks arrived my wife’s steak was rare inside and mine was mid rare and both sides of mash where cold. My wife sent her steak back to receive a new one cooked medium. They took my wife’s original steak that she had cut into and sent it back out(she wanted a new one cooked to medium not the original one that had been cut into) She then asked to speak to a manger who’s name is Amir. He said that’s their protocol if the steak isn’t cooked to temp they take the same one and cook it. He then asked my wife would she like another T bone and she said yes and they sent out the same steak again! For the third time! He proceeded to say the chef won’t make a new one so either you can have this one or we can take it away. My wife said she wanted a new one and his exact words was I’m not here to argue with you tonight wait her you want the steak or we can make something else. After being there and hour and thirty minutes she took the steak. When she cut into it it was medium well as you can see from the photos! When we went to check out she asked to not pay for her steak because she didn’t eat it he said It is nothing he can do she opted to take the steak the third time even tho she wasn’t given an option! Safe to say we won’t be going back do to the horrible service and change of chef who has no clue what they’re doing. Positive calamari was good everything else lacked flavour do not waste your money here!

The Blaxland Inn is a medium sized venue opposite the Hope estate. If you're looking for lunch or dinner before a night time raging concert, this place will do in a pinch. Pricing wise they're moderate to expensive compared to standard restaurants we've assessed in the same class. There is also a mandatory 1 main per person, the cheapest starting at $30. Meals are tasty and of reasonable size. The menu is not large but it should satisfy most preferences. Naturally the wine menu is appropriate, and we were happy to find they had a better range of beers than other locales. Stafd are friendly and attentive,and meal turn around time during the dinner rush was appropriate. We were disapointed with the quality of the deserts. We had the stickydate pudding and the brownies and both unfortunately failed the 'could I make it better?' test. Our stickydate was dry and overcooked losing a lot of its flavour, and the brownie was undercooked. The atmosphere was nice though we imagine once the fire is going in winter it will be well cosy.

I had the best beef short rib ever! Juicy and huge portion! Also the best caramelised fig semi-freddo. But my partner had the pork rib special which turned out to be the worst ribs we’ve ever had.

Entries we ordered to share were good: pork belly and corn bread. The little disappointment was the main wagyu steaks our table ordered weren't impressive. We ordered 5 of their steaks due to our friend's recommendation but this time it's not very tasty, felt like a normal pub steak.

The blaxland inn is a great restaurant! Have been here 3 times now and have not been disappointed The chicken and steak are great! But I have not been able to try another desert then the sticky date as it's been too good.

Nice restaurant for a casual lunch or dinner. Menu is small and overpriced but staff are lovely and quick to serve. They also offer a shuttle bus within a 10 minute radius which is such a great idea!

So it was a birthday lunch. 7 people we sat late due to people at out table but once there dri ks and food order was great helpful waitress and very nice in approach. Food is exceptional from salt and pepper squid to cornbread to galric prawns all had great taste and cooked beautiful. Steaks cooked to exactly the order taken couldn't fault anything on the day. From food to service was amazing well recommended.

It’s great place I enjoy Thursday night dinner Today Saturday 12/6/21 around 12.15 pm call to make another booking early 5 pm table for two one of their workers answer phone impossible to book we are fully booked said I was shock one table for two early pm couldn’t fine place May be next time again it’s great food !!!

Great service, nice food and homey atmosphere. Loved the lamb shanks. 👍
