Found the hidden gem when it come to american ribs. Went here for birthday dinner and staff was really nice. We ordered almost everything from the menu, (except the burgers coz we're here for the ribs of course, might try it next time) and it was delicious!! Coleslaw was surprisingly one of my favorite because its sourness cuts down the greasiness of the ribs which was perfect. Definitely recommend the Jalapeno with mac n cheese. We will be back again for sure.

First time here will be back. Short beef rib was amazing. Fall off the bone tender with the original BBQ sauce. I could have drowned in a tub of the maple butter from the corn bread. Slaw was a much needed acidic hit to cut through the ribs and whatever they season the fries with is perfect for the meal. Cheeseburger was okay. The sauce and pickles overpowered it slightly and took away from the rest of the flavours burger. Very acidic overall taste, couldn't taste beef or cheese. A good American cheeseburger but not the best I've ever had. Can't wait to come back.

We had been given a voucher and decided to try out the place. Awesome food and service! Ribs fell off the bone, with just enough sauce, not too much. Good portion sizes Fast service and friendly staff! Will definitely be back!

Every time we come to Brisbane we come to Roddy’s. The meat 🍖 is melt in your mouth and the sauce is amazing as are the chicken 🍗 wings. The sides compliment the mains so well. The wait staff are so friendly and chilled......come open a restaurant near us please 😋😜

I've tried a few American style burger and ribs restaurants but not all. I rate this the tastiest of them all so far. Staff were very accommodating, the online ordering system was very convenient and the food came out quicker than I thought considering we had a family birthday group of 12 (tight fit but very doable over 3 tables). Portion sizes were SO BIG I had to ask for a takeaway box to finish it off and enjoy later. I ordered their main meal sampler RIBS(tender and juicy) with their poutine fries gravy melted cheese with bacon. First time I tried cornbread and loved it. It came out hot with a tub of butter. It's a new taste for me. Almost like a crumbly yellow cake that tastes abit like a pancake flavour to it and the butter just melts into it. Very tasty and will try again. After our meals the staff cleared our tables and bought out the birthday cake with plates utensils and even started singing happy birthday for us to join in. Well done staff. Those at my table enjoyed the burgers and other items which I will have to try when I return. THANK YOU Big Roddy's Southbank we enjoyed our night.

Not bad at all. The ribs were insanely tender and just fell off the bone. Felt very naughty eating here. The jalapeño poppers were very cheeky. I'm going 4 stars only because the spicy sauce wasn't spicy. But all in all not a bad affordable little joint.

Really disappointing burger, it was burnt and the chicken was really over cooked to the extent that it was hard when I bit into it. The chips were good but the burger was a huge let down

11/10 always love this place, love the trivia nights would love to see more, will be back.
