Amazing food, extra special service and a perfect almond latte

Very disappointed, steak was over cooked and cold. Great view, staff need some training.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the meal I ate at Bib and Tucker. It is place we really have enjoyed many times before, however last night I ordered the 12 hour smoked lamb. It was unpalatable. The explanation given was that the smoking causes really strong flavours. That doesn't really explain the unsettled stomach issues it caused. The compensation offered was a complimentary dessert. But really the food was below standard and the taste was extremely unpleasant.

What a shame that locations like this are occupied by restaurants that are mediocre at best. Fish and chips with just a sliver of fish coated in dirty brown batter that was ultimately scraped off, accompanied by a limp old salad sharing the plate. Tried the prawn pizza and chorizo pizza both of which domino’s would do a better job at - Overpriced junk food. A good 60 bottle of red served so warm it was undrinkable. And do you think they wiped our table clean upon (half) clearing it? No. When you’re finished your meal, get up and walk to the till to pay - you’ll have to, because the waitstaff (if they actually qualify as such) would have forgotten about you anyway. Why on earth do people continue to support lacklustre places like this, that without the prominent position would be dead? Perhaps at some point a more capable manager/owner can have a go at putting a decent establishment in this superb spot. A true waste of space.

Absolutely delicious. Have been there twice and ordered different food each time never been disappointed. Can't wait to be back !!!!
