Best Gourmet Restaurant Newtown

We’e been a few times as a big group and it’s always amazing. Dumplings and sizzling plates are standouts. Great service and cheap (they never let us pay full price)

The owner of the restaurant is extremely friendly and personable, an absolutely amazing restaurant run by a very lovely down-to-earth family. The hot plate dishes are excellent. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the wonton soup and Sichuan chicken dish we ordered. I would easily come back here again!

Really friendly service and WONDERFUL food. We ate two kinds of dumplings, shallot pancake, roast duck, and kangkung, and the bill was extremely reasonable. The owner takes great care of her guests as well. We will be coming back on the regular!

This one just moved from Chinatown to Newtown and I’ve been a loyal customer. Very authentic and yummy! The sizzling hot plates taste so good and their bbq duck is a must. Envy the people who are in neighbourhood. Highly recommended

Lives up to its name of providing the best gourmet food. Service is amazing and the owners are very warm and generous. Chinese restaurants can often be distinguished by the quality of their chilli oil, theirs was on point with the perfect proportion of spices, seasoning and crispness. Very authentic and delicious Chinese meals (speaking as a native Chinese person), the dumplings are cooked to perfection, the sizzling plates are a must have, proportions are more than worth their price. Overall, very good value and perfect for a wide range of palate.

The veg dumplings and soy chicken were amazing, staff were lovely. I will definitely be recommending to friends and will be coming back soon (^-^) My new favourite restaurant!!!

Best dumplings all round steamed or pan pried freshly done off the bat. Nice & friendly service and the OG crew from Chinatown. Other dishes pack a full flovoured punch also. I give this more than just a like!
