Upmarket cafe that does great breakfast and coffee. Healthy options available. Place is clean, staff are prompt, efficient and courteous. Prices are a little above the norm but quality and quantity negate that fact. No hesitation in recommending this cafe.

Food was ok. Not many options for vegetarians. Slightly expensive as compared to other cafes in the area. Had to wait for a while for food although cafe wasn’t crowded.

Staff are always friendly and efficient. Food has always been amazing and fresh. Would highly recommend to anyone

Good coffee and food here. Staff were friendly enough. Was not too busy today given it is the weekend. Food did not take too long to arrive.

We arrived 15 mins before closing time and were advised that we would have to leave at 3pm. Would've liked to have stayed longer but in that time enjoyed a very nice coffee and a shared Chocolate Lava Cake. Prompt friendly service. Would definitely recommend Bensons.

We come here a lot for diner and breakfast. The service is excellent, the food is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. We’re here on a Friday night and the place is only half full. People of Mt Waverley, what are you doing? Do you not know what a gem of a restaurant you have on your doorstep? We regularly travel from Glen Iris to Bensons Mt Waverley and have never been disappointed. Get out of your comfy houses and get up to Bensons for a wonderful meal. You’ll love it.

I ordered a toasted egg & bacon with a fresh o.j. Thought meal was a tad pricey, until I received the most generous tasty focaccia, overflowing with quality bacon, yum👌 excellent hunger buster! Prompt & courteous service, huge serve of quality food, fresh juice, plenty of parking, open & airy environs. Worth every cent, winner!

What can I say, the food was delicious. Friends and I came for lunch as it was our first time going recommended by family. Was busy when we walked in and lucky to get a table as we didn't reserve one. The waitresses did a great job at seeing us and we didn't have to wait long for our food and drinks. I heard dinner is open too so will definitely try it out soon. Highly recommend this place for quality!
