Exactly what it says. Hot actually means hot too. Had the Southern today - and it was excellently crispy outside, tender inside. Coleslaw was also yummy! New favourite fried chicken joint.

One of the best southern style fried chicken spot in Melbourne. They have different options of chicken cuts with varying spice levels. They offer specials like chicken and waffles on the weekends. Highly recommend the spot if you love good old school american diner style.

Belle's are the clear leader when it comes to fried chicken in Melbourne - it's often the first place people think of when they want fried chicken in Melbourne. The chicken itself is crunchy on the outside, juicy and moist on the inside. Flavourful and tender. Sides are good. I enjoyed the mac n cheese and the crinkle cut fries. On the pricier end of fried chicken, it is worth it for a sometimes treat. I once got the fried chicken sandwich to take away, it was pretty spectacular - and humongous. It's my personal highlight and the item that I would go to again and again (and again). Clean premises, modern fit out, good customer service. Definitely worth a visit, in fact it's definitely worth multiple visits.

Belle's is said to be the go-to for southern fried chicken in Melbourne and they don't disappoint. The chicken was very juicy; I think it uses the same brine as the pickles. Portions are substantial. And service was really really nice. They do different levels of spice and we ordered the Sex Panther and almost fainted. My only complaint is that the sides don't come out even nearly as fresh as the chicken. Our fries was no longer hot and the sweet potato salad was room temperature.

Are you crazy? It's Australia's best fried chicken joint. Go eat there. No arguments. Oh and don't get the Sex Panther unless you're clinically insane or you want your face to melt right off....

Normally I go to the one in Fitzroy, glad now they are in the city close to my work. I love fried chicken so much and this is where I go when I was craving an American style fried chicken. You could choose how spicy the chicken you would like to be. I love the blue cheese sauce, but they’ve got other different sauces as well. The place has a fun vibe. Good music and the staffs are very friendly, helpful and attentive
